Farli, thanks for the reply. The vet doesn't know what it is and is sending the xrays to a specialist. I looked on the net for info and found that info that I thought was like her symptoms but i have also found something called puppy limp that looks like it also.

She has been limping on and off for a few months but as it wasn't all of the time, at first it didn't concern me. It did however get more frequent. She hasn't limped for a week this time but it could come on any time. It is her left back leg and the vet says her knee is swollen. Upon xray the round end of her lower leg bone on the right side was very clear and round but on the left it was less clear and and appeared to have a slight dip. He also said that usually you can see a black line which is the growth plate but hers were not visable meaning they has closed and she would not grow any more. She is pretty big for her age any way so will not be a dwarf.
