Hobbies:
My main hobby at the moment is looking after my two kids although im not sure if that can be called a hobby but they do take up alot of my time! Other than that im waiting for the arrival of my new staffy pup which we are calling Floyd,we'll be getting him in about 4 weeks time!! If i do get some spare time i like reading & socializing with friends.

Movies:
I'll watch pretty much anything as long as it isnt scarey! I love the classic chick-flicks like dirty dancing, pretty woman, romeo & juliet & muriels wedding but will also watch thrillers,actions & comedies! I like the Star Wars series & Lord of the Rings. Worst film is Willi Wonka & the Chocloate Factory (the old version) as the Umpa Lumpas really scare me!!

Television:
Im a soap fan im afraid! As depressing as they are i just cant resist half an hour of watching someone elses misery!! I also like crime series such as Waking The Dead, Prime Suspect, Murphys Law etc. I do not watch reality TV shows such as Big Brother, The Apprentice, X Factor etc as they are just to cringe worthy & full of wanna be celebrities famous for nothing!

Heroes:
My mum is my hero as she's been through the mill but still stands strong & to me there is no-one else id rather look up to!

Favourite Music:
Im an indie chick at heart, love Oasis, Blur, Ocean Colour Scene & alot of the new band in the charts like the Arctic Monkeys, The Killers, Razorlite etc. I also like motown, The Beatles, The Jam, & The Stranglers. Cant beat songs that you can sing along to so although im mad to admit it i am proud owner of Girls Aloud, The Spice Girls & Take That!!

Favourite Foods:
A classic Roast Beef dinner with all the trimmings followed by any Chocolate Dessert is my ultimate fave food!!

Books:
I really enjoy reading so am willing to open any book and give it a go once. I mainly have alot of Chick-Lit but read my mums wartime novels, peoples autobiographys & real-life reads!

About Me:
I am 25 & full time mum to my two kids Zac who will be 2 in August & Esther who will be 1 in August. I live with my partner Darren,we have been together for 4 years & got engaged 2 years ago altho at the moment we have no plans to make it official! As mentioned before we are about to get a new Staffy pup in about 4 weeks time,called Floyd. This will be the 2nd Staff i have owned. My last staff was called Benson,we lost him just before Christmas last year, he was 12. I have always been brought up with dogs & love their companionship & unconditional love. Before having the kids i was a corporate account manager for a fire company, but in September hope to start college & retrain as a teaching assistant.

How's the toilet training going. i am having a bit of bother that way with duke he was fine for the 1st few days we had him and then things began to go downhill. He is fine everyother way but you are constantly watching his every move, esp when he disappears behind the tv, the sofa or into the hall. but as i was reaing the comments to your blog i have realised that i'm possibly giving him to much free space so i am going to narrow it down and see what happens. let me know how you get on. x x

I did an nvq3 in childcare and education with s/n elements. For my placement  i went to a s/n school for experience and assessments with s/n children. During my placement i ask if i could go on some courses held for the staff ie.aspergers,adhd,global awareness and down syndrome these all helped me get to where i wanted. Just recently i have gained my makaton certificate which helps me with chilren with lang difficulties.  You'll love it there is always something else to learn and when your wrecked and tired in the evenings you have the best dog to give you all the kisses and love you need to put a smile back on your face. x x

Hi! Jen here i was just reading your profile and saw your going to train as a teaching assistant. I have been a TA for the last 10years working with children with autism and ther special needs i love it and find it really rewarding.  Floyd is gorgeous what age is he now. xx

I've had to get a big pool this year, my granddaughter who lives with me is 10, and just wouldnt be satisfied with a paddling pool, especially as most of her mates have a big pool!! Peer pressure hey, but your little ones wont be swayed by that ........ yet!!
The tyre came from ATS (I think - a place that changes tyres and exhausts) They didnt charge us anything, as they had come off cars and motorbikes, and were either bald or punctured. Its one of thebest things we've got him so far and is so far proving to be indestructable.

Thanks! Its been a quiet day so far! Me & he kids are all poorly with bad colds! Floyds being a good little boy today though apart from keep messing in the house! One day at a time though!! Ha Ha x
