I am a single father bringing up 2 daughters by myself, Rosie nearly 13 and Megan nearly 11, were taken from me 6 years ago by their mother. Recently she gave them up and they had to come and live with me,, doing our best and every one is happy so far. Lucky my male dog was a rescue dog and is approx 5 years old,, he is very antisocial and does not take well to any one new ,, canine or human. Honey we got from aged 5 months as a friend for Lucky and also a dog for the girls that was friendly and they were able to touch. Sam is my boy aged 7 and lives with his mum and visits weekends and school holidays. All the kids love honey and she is allowed upstairs onto their beds,,Lucky however has problems and none of the kids will trust him as he has bitten them all at one time or another in the past. He is what could be called a one man dog,, he fears most things and will bite first and think later. The first 6 months with Honey has been worrying to say the least. She has had to deal with Luckies dominance and possessive behaviour but now at one year she has almost turned the tables on him,, he is still top dog but often prefers to walk away from her constant pushing.
