Thankyou for that  I'll have something to think about now and then lots of practice to do  It's the moment right after the click and treat his concentration goes and he takes off!! I'm sure your tips will be a great help to us both, his neck and my arms lol. Thankyou xx

Hi Jayne, I know what you mean Lilia is the same. She will walk nicely for a while after a treat and then bolt off again! I now just stand still until the lead slackens and go off again - its all time consuming but little by little we are getting there  . It is all about patience (not one of my stronger things lol). My trainer said to use a half choke (i have never had one before i didnt like them but i got one now). Good luck i know how you feel xx

Jayne i seen your comments about loose lead training. You have to have your dog on a slack lead and when you start to walk click when the dog isnt pulling and treat. When your dog pulls stop and either change direction, step back or wait until your dog comes back to you and again click when the lead is loose. Its a slow process of click and reward for good behaviour. My trainer said that if you have times when you cant start and stop you can differentiate the dogs walking behaviour by having it on a harness and be allowed to walk at the end of the lead but when its on its collar it must walk with a loose lead. Hope that helps a bit. Di
