Hobbies:

I live for my dogs, so most of the things i do it related to the Stafford. I make there collars and leads, for show and pet Stafford's.
I show my dogs when i get time.
I breed them when i find a suitable dog for my girls.

Love science fiction, or murder mysteries.

Love star wars, i cant think at the moment there are stacks.

07/08/2008 19:33:57 Omg your nuts, just noticed how many stoffords you won. How do you cope with that many? who's pack leader and do they fight alot for it? Were getting own second dog in 10 weeks and im worrying like crazy, except this time were getting a Rotwieller because the missis loves them lol

sure, i just clip a lead on while they are playing, i keep hold of it and grab a toy and get them to follow the toy, it works every time, they forget they are on a lead.

then with the lead on, step back a few steps, hold out your toy and say come and pull puppy towards you, show the toy. and keep moving backwards. when he will follow you, try the other way, hold the lead loose and put the toys just in front of his nose, as soon as he moves off, put a little bit of tension on the lead, get him to follow the toy around the house.

Then move to the next stage, hold your lead, and with a happy higher pitched voice, pat your leg and say come, you walk off and keep patting your leg. If he takes one step, say good puppy.

You will have him walking on the lead in no time.

when i say pull him, Dont pull him hard, just put a bit of tension on the lead.

Hey Julie....you have got to see this..lol..this is the bed Lily wants to buy her puppy, its a princess bed, guess Lily has got my taste in decorating...lol.. i told Lily that puppy will more than likely out grow the bed by the times its 3-4 months old....oh well at least puppy will be living it up...treated like a princess...

Aww Julie...Zep was is very loved & dearly missed, i shed a tear for him every day, i go hes grave in my backyard everyday & say hi to him, even Lily misses him very dearly, its going to be hard for Lily this coming sunday 10-8-08, Zep died just 2 days after her birthday... i had a surprise birthday party planned for Lily on the saturday, but we cancelled it, i knew Lily & I were not up to having a party the day after Zep died, it didnt even bother Lily not having a birthday party, Zep was more important....

I was going to tell you about what happened at the park on the weekend.

i was walking my dogs as per normal, and two young boys around 12- 13 years old cmae over and said they look like my dads dogs but his has pink noses.

They then said that they have a litter at the moment and it was time to cut there lips off.

I freaked and said what! they said yes my day cut them off so they dont get caught when they fight.

I froze and said your dad fights dogs, yes they said, we have pink nosed pitbulls. I said its against the law to do what you dad is doing and before i could get a name, the older one nudged the other and they both took off.

i couldn't sleep that night. i rang my vet who is a friend and he said that he doesn't know any one with pit bulls, then he said keep out of it, they will come and kill your dogs if you make a fuss.

What would you do Deb.

Aww Julie..i know i would be running like hell, i would avoid them to protect my dogs & me...its bloody sick'n dog fights, & thoses 2 kids know about it...listen to your vet, hes warned you for a very good reason...

Aww Julie.... both Lily & I would love to feel they puppies move in mummies tummy, we have never experienced that before..i fell soo sad for the dogs in fights, it soo horrible, some dog owners need to be put in a fighting pit with lions, let them feel what its like to rip to bits...

I sent you the bieby book that talks about the lines and has all the measurements for checking your stafford's body and head.

It has a small mark on the cover and a smudged text on one of the pages. but i am sure you wont mind. You cannot get this book anymore so hang on to it.

Thank you for your comment. Wow... yes he is soooo much better! It is starting to get the other way now and she is annoying him all the time but in such a playful way!

Not too sure how it happened, it just seemed that over night Kody completely changed. He is now soooo loving with her. The other day they was both chewing on a bone each and then she decided to go and steal his one but he was sooo gentle and he just let her take it, then went and kissed her and layed down.

They still play quite rough sometimes but I can definately tell the difference between this play and how they were a few weeks ago.
