Carolyn, Have you ever bought the frozen meat from Berriewoods internet site, I think you said you had used them before. Cant get hold of prize choice, but wondered what this was like, have yours ever tried it?

Wendy

No I havent Wendy-I buy the Arden grange from there but to buy frozen you have to live fairly close to the shop-Im a long way away. You could give it a try and see what Kai thinks of their food. xxx

"Just goes to show really how much difference a good
vet makes. Cant believe the woman was giving off to you for going
regularly. I would have thought you would be her favourite customer.
At least you have found a good one for Crawley now. he must have felt secure there, falling asleep on vets table.
Wish I had an option, if I went to another  I would need to travel 6-7 miles, which isnt good as i dont drive."

I know, I thought that too! I mean I'm giving her money and that's obviously all she was bothered about. She needs sacking, in my eyes. Btw it is CrOwley not Crawley ;]

There is a really really good one about 15 miles away but we don't have a car either. If it was anything important I would deffinatley go or for any operations or anything, but it's a real pain to get to with no car.

I just turned 18 on Saturday though so I'm gonna get my ass learning to drive. :D

Oh Lynne im so so sorry RIP baby girl. I do hope you are ok, at least she had a lovely life with you & your family after you recued her. Please dont blame yourself for not noticing, I think its a lot harder to notice there is a problem with a cat, at least now she is free from pain, running at Rainbow Bridge. Bless her.
Lots of love to you all
Wendy

Hi Wendy, thank you so much hun, your support means a lot to me. I have taken great comfort from lots of people who have told me that cats hide their illnesses very well, not like our soppy dogs who will come and plonk their heads in our laps and look at us with those sad eyes lol
Hope all is well with you and the gorgeous Kai, speak soon, big hugs xx

Oh how awful Lynne, I do hope she is OK, it is terrible when they get older with these ailments, my cat Billy only died last year, and he was 17, when you have had them healthy far so long then something like this happens, its hearbreaking seeing them. Has she had breathing problems before? Billy was not good at all for the last year, but kept battling on, but in the end he got so bad, the only way was to put him to sleep, as the vet said he was beginning to suffer, and would not make it longer than a month. So sad and upsetting when you have had them so long.
I do hope she is Ok and the vet can help her.
Love Wendy

Hi Wendy, I did a blog because it was just too painful to keep writing it over and over - but I had to have her put to sleep, there was just no option she was such so poorly. I am heartbroken, and questioning myself that I should have noticed something was wrong a lot sooner. I  had a gut feeling that she wouldnt be coming home with me.
Hope you are all ok, hugs to all and thanks so much for your support it really does mean a lot to me xx

Lynne, I dont know if I said thanks for comments on kais baby pics, as site went down, Im not sure, so it im repeating myself sorry. Just had to tell you this, do you remember picture of Venus in your grandaughters knickers, well I loved it so much I copied and pasted it into my pictures on my computer. The other day my hubby said, Cant understand this there is a strange dog with knickers on in one of my documents, It was The lovely Venus God knows how it got into his pictures, but it really made me laugh, he could not understand it.

Hope your all well
Wendyxxx

Hi Wendy, aww no probs hun Kai was a beautiful looking puppy.
lol I can imagine your hubbys reaction when he came across her in his documents lol bet he thought the gremlins had moved in lol
We are all good this end, both of my two are in fine form, Im a bit concerned about the cat at the moment, she is wheezing badly and her breathing looks laboured, her whole body seemed racked by it all this morning. She has disappeared now, but I hope she comes home for her food tonight (but she hasnt eaten the last two days) I have an appointment for her at the vets in the morning! I dont want her suffering and she is 14 yrs old at least. When we had her from a rescue they said she was about 2 but the vet when he checked her over said she was a lot older than that, and we have had her for 12 yrs so she is a good age and I'd hate to see her suffering. These animals dont half cause us some worry!!
Hope all is well with you, hubby and the lovely Kai, speak soon hun, hugs xxx

Well it was nice not getting up at 5, so at least I got a lie in until 7:30 but then Kai made me get up, we have just been taking it easy today, few walks in park but it was so hot before, she wasnt in to it, at least its cooled down a bit now.
Enjoy the rest of your day Lynne
Wendy

Aww at least you got a bit of a lie in which is good, cause they dont usually know the meaning of that  Its lovely here now (I dont like it too hot - I cant cope with it plus I get prickly heat!) I can stand it outside now its a little cooler. We may be going shopping later it depends what time Mark gets in from work. Speak soon hun, take it easy xx

Aww bless you Wendy, thanks so much for your lovely comments on my vids. I know what you mean with the squeaky toy one, it drives my two crazy lol  We did manage to fix the tickling stick, but every time I try and use it Venus goes bananas and barks her head off at it lol  Hows the time off going, are you managing to get any rest? Ive just come in from the park, boy it was hot out there! Big hugs to you and the lovely Kai, speak soon xxx

Thats great to hear, they soon recover dont they, I was amazed how quick Kai recovered. I knowo what you mean about trying to contain her though, thats the hard part.
Well done to Toby for being so good on his lone walking, it must be strange having only one with you, I bet hes loving the sole attention. Bless him.
Im fine, Im off now for 4 days, as ive done 51 hours for the last 3 weeks, too much im knackered, but we have no choice as its summer months, so hope I can get a bit of a relax. Kai probably has other ideas though.
Speak soon Wendy

Im sure Toby has enjoyed being out with me solo and having no competition for his ball lol  Thats an awful lot of hours in a week hun you are ever likely to be knackered!! I hope you manage to get some rest with the lovely Kai. Give her  a big hug from me, and I'll speak soon hun xxx
