well,i received a call today asking about the last 2 pups in my litter, the man was west indian with a london accent and he asked questions that my current buyer had,nt asked which rang alarm bells immediatly, firstly he wanted to know if the dogs would grow to have a muscley physique and have the parents ever lost their temper did they put up a good fight etc,so i said why are you interested in my dogs as he was clearly from london and i live in dudley in the west midlands hundreds of miles away? i said its a long way for you to travel to come and get a pup, well he just seemed so dodgy and said could he come with some mates and i said no im sorry you can only come when my husband is in,i asked where would the dog be kept and he replied in a cage in the garden with his other dogs,so i said have you got a male or female and he'd got 5 boys well straight away i thought "hes a dog fighter" so i said was the number he was ringing from his home number so i could arrange a time  with him and the thick idiot said yes so as soon as i put the phone down i rang the rspca and my local police station to pass on his details, well the police said they would inform me of the outcome.you don't need to be to clever to realise that all of his questions pointed to the fact that he wanted to know if the dogs would grow to be big and muscley and aggressive where as all my other buyers asked the usual questions.all i hope is that maybe i might have stopped some yob doing anything nasty with our beautiful breed, the police man said if he rings again to say sorry i never rang back but ive sold the last 2 pups so that he won't call again.i was boiling when i put the phone down because i really wanted to abuse this poor excuse for a human being i just hope ive done the right thing.

Hi Lisa,  well done!  Just imagine what would have happened to you lovely puppies if you hadn’t been as responsible as you are!  Hope the police do something about the horrible act of dog fighting!

Good for you Lisa. You did well to get his number and report him. It would be lovely to think that some action will be taken against this low life, and the staffies rescued. Thank god you didnt let yours go. Well done hun

Bloody Well Done Lisa, Im so proud of you especially for thinking as you were talking and getting the idiots number.  I hope to god the police do something about it.  Have you managed to get anyone for the last 2 yet.  I know you said that the little girl is yours if you really struggle but what if you cant find a new home for either.  The breeder we got Luna from has 2 of her pups left so they now have 5 staffies to look after as they had 3 of their own to start with, mind they do show so if anything the 2 left will make nice dogs and will go on to show.  But its a lot to feed and look after, that the only trouble with breeding I suppose, you cant guarantee the size of litter, Luna's mum had 8 all together and most people dont have the luxury of money to spend on a good quality dog at the moment so it puts them off, I dont know how much you are charging but we paid 500 for Luna plus all the extras for her jabs, bedding, bowls, toys, microchipping, certificate cost me 28 quid as we got the big one as she has 23 champions in her bloodline and wanted this as a show piece.  Well again well done Lisa Im proud of you,  Debi

Well done Lisa, at least you've saved your two babies from a horrible fate. Dont expect the police to do anything though cos they dont seem to care too much ask Pam or Jan that. But fingers crossed they do something to this 'man' there are some nasty people about.
