Anyone heard of this?
Posted On 01/08/2008 13:32:20 by Tylerstaff
I read in 'The Dog' magazine that in some circles its frowned upon to call our dogs 'Staffies' and they should be referred to as SBT or Staffords.
Anyone else heard of this?
I wonder if its classed as a slang name?

I always call mind 'Staffies' never heard of this before!

Hi,

I found this a really intresting .... i suppose its personal taste on what you call them.Just no actual reason as to why its frowned upon, maybe like mentioned it is a 'down grade'.
Thanks for the comments, Ali x
