It is with a heavy heart that I write to let everyone who wished me and the boys well after our separation last year know that we have had to find a new home for Guinness. Unfortunately since we got him back from his time in the kennels, he never really adjusted to being back at home with all of us (3 humans, 3 cats and Frick).
He never really settled and started to get nasty towards the other animals, and it didn't seem to matter what we did, we couldn't seem to get the old Guinness back. When he was in a 1 - 2 - 1 situation, he was a lovely dog, but with any of the other animals around he became unpredictable, and it wasn't fair on him or my 12 year old daughter who was beginning to trust him less and less, that things carried on.
Although it was a sad moment when we said goodbye, at least he now has the chance to become the lovely dog he really is.
Frick still looks for him now and then around the house, but he seems ok with things.
