Skye getting spayed today

Well the day has come for skye's visit to the vets to be spayed, i dropped her off at 10 this morning, i was with her when she was given her pre-med and then settled her into her crate, she had a little sniff around and then got herself comfy i told her to stay and she did then after a few mins i shut the door said goodbye. I waited around for a few mins and not one little peep so i went on my way. The nurse phoned me at about 12ish to tell me that she was fine and was about to go into surgery. Now i am just waiting for the call to go and collect her, this honestley feels like the longest few hours of my life.

Aww I know exactly what you are going through hun, Venus was done last Thursday! She will be drowsy and sleep a lot for the rest of today and tomorrow then she will really begin to pick up. My biggest problem now - 5 days on, is keeping her calm - or should I say damage limitation! She will be fine though hun, but I dont envy you and those sad eyes when she comes home today.
