Putting Image on Your Personal Staffyclub Pages
Linking to images on your personal Staffordshire Bull Terrier club pages is not like putting a link on a forum which uses a different code.
When linking to images on Staffyclub you have to use proper html formatting.
This is how the link would look:
<img src=”PUTYOURIMAGELINKINHERE”>
If you want to make the image smaller without editing the actual image you can make it like this:
<img src=”PUTYOURIMAGELINKINHERE” height=”75% width=”75%”>
Or in pixels:
<img src=”PUTYOURIMAGELINKINHERE” height=”400″ width=”400″>
Experiment a little with the sizes until you get the right height and width. You don’t want to be uploading pics that are too big or it will break the layout of your personal page, which will look crap
If pics are massive then you should always resize before uploading to Staffyclub, this includes your blog images. Here’s a free tool you can use to resize them:
http://www.shrinkpictures.com/
A good idea is to upload any images you want to use to Photobucket and then take the link from photobucket and paste it into the above html code to show your image on your Staffyclub page.
Or, if the image is one of your Staffy photos or personal pics you can copy the link from your gallery page. You can find the direct link to your pics by visiting your gallery and clicking on any of your pics. The image link is just below the picture.
Some members have been pasting images into their profiles to show their favourite films and books, like I have done at my page: http://www.staffyclub.com/Admin
In this case, you should upload your pics to photobucket first then copy the link.
If you have any questions please post them in the comments below.
