Staffyclub Payment Options

I have been getting an increasing amount of messages from members enquiring how they can pay for a Staffyclub membership, besides through the Paypal method.

So I have created a page outlining aexactly how you can upgrade your membership without using Paypal or a credit card.

View the payment options at the link below:

Today we have had 7 new members signup. I think that is the most in one day so far. Don’t forget we are only 6 months old. So we are making great progress. You can help us grow even more by using your personal Staffyclub link everywhere you visit online. You can also add the link to your other websites, videos and other online venues.

I would also like to personally thank all of you who are welcoming new members, leaving comments and generally making this a great club. Your efforts don’t go unnoticed.

Putting Images on Your Staffy Club Pages

Putting Image on Your Personal Staffyclub Pages

Linking to images on your personal Staffordshire Bull Terrier club pages is not like putting a link on a forum which uses a different code.

When linking to images on Staffyclub you have to use proper html formatting.

This is how the link would look:

<img src=”PUTYOURIMAGELINKINHERE”>

If you want to make the image smaller without editing the actual image you can make it like this:

<img src=”PUTYOURIMAGELINKINHERE” height=”75% width=”75%”>

Or in pixels:

<img src=”PUTYOURIMAGELINKINHERE” height=”400″ width=”400″>

Experiment a little with the sizes until you get the right height and width. You don’t want to be uploading pics that are too big or it will break the layout of your personal page, which will look crap :shock:

If pics are massive then you should always resize before uploading to Staffyclub, this includes your blog images. Here’s a free tool you can use to resize them:
http://www.shrinkpictures.com/

A good idea is to upload any images you want to use to Photobucket and then take the link from photobucket and paste it into the above html code to show your image on your Staffyclub page.

Or, if the image is one of your Staffy photos or personal pics you can copy the link from your gallery page. You can find the direct link to your pics by visiting your gallery and clicking on any of your pics. The image link is just below the picture.

Some members have been pasting images into their profiles to show their favourite films and books, like I have done at my page: http://www.staffyclub.com/Admin

In this case, you should upload your pics to photobucket first then copy the link.

If you have any questions please post them in the comments below.

Staffy Club Site Progress

Staffy Club Site Progress

I am delighted so far with the site’s progress. When we first started the Staffordshire Bull Terrier forum is was months before we saw any activity at all and only really got a few members per month - unlike Staffyclub.

Staffy Club has really got off to a magic start and it is down to how passionate our members are about their Staffies.

They have made the site so far with their videos, comments, loads of pictures and more. This will only get better as we grow in membership. We have only just begun. You can help in that area by getting the word out.

I will be heavily promoting the site too with videos, and articles.

Here’s some of the activity so far today:

New Members: 2
Comments Posted: 28
Pictures Added: 49
Pictures Rated On: 228
Polls Posted: 1
Polls Voted On: 2
Quiz Created: 0
Blogs Created: 2
Messages Sent: 19
Videos Added: 1

We are making great headway in the search engines already but it will take a wee while longer to get to the top pages of Google. At that stage you can expect to see 100s of visitors per day to our pages. Remember, the site is made up of the individual members’ pages, blogs, videos, etc. So it’s your stuff they’re coming to see:)!

You are all doing your Staffies proud!
