Me and the wife (Chantal) have been together for 23yrs and have 2 daughters, laken 19yrs and Kayleigh 18yrs, our new addition Skye is our first dog as a family.
Hey Chantal, how are you honey?. How is the family and the lovely Skye. She is a credit to you, she looks super!. How is she coping with the heat the last few days I'm struggling and so is Belle. I bet your using it to get used to Cyprus you lucky girl!. I went there many moons ago and so loved it, I would love to go back and do it all over again. That holiday with stay with me forever, have you been before or is this your first time there?. Where is Skye going while you are away?. Hi Lynne, thanks so much for Laken's birthday greeting. Hope you are all well, especially venus, if she is anything like Skye thenit will be like it never ever happened, I tokk her to vet on friday to have her stitches out and Brian was veryu happy with her, even if she headbutt him well he really should know better? he kneals down to greet her and she runs up to hom to kiss him but always manages to nearly knock him out whilst peeeing all over the floor blees her she just cannot contain herself. Hi Chantal, aww hun I hope Laken had a fabulous birthday (that is a lovely name - I must say I have never heard it before - where did it come from?) We are all great thanks - Venus - well as you say you wouldnt think she had anything done lol She has started to run straight at me when she runs back to me when chasing the ball, and she either head butts my shins or scrapes the side of me and the two harness fasteners scrape my leg - it dosent half hurt! Yet all I can do is praise her for coming back to me lol I can just see Skye running up to Brian, piddling everywhere and knocking him out lol Bless her, she sounds very excitable, and she loves him lol Different to Venus she puts the brakes on and I have to pull her in to see our vet lol Hope all is well with you all, take care hun, big hugs to Skye, speak soon xx
Hi Di, not to worry, i hope you had a lovely time away, where did you go? well skye is doing well, she went to the vet on friday for her post-op review and brian (vet) removed her plaster and everything is fine, you know she has not even attempted to touch her wound at all which has really suprised me, i just pray she keeps it up! the hardest thing is keeping her off the sofas i have now admitted defeat today. Well considering i have been at home all last week i dont seem to have achieved anything! well i have been trying to organise a party, my eldest Laken will be 21 on 8th june and she wants a barbeque next weekend (lets pray weather is on our side) take care matey Chantal x
Hi Chantal we went to Denbigh in North Wales on a luxury dog training break - very interesting! The trainer said Lilia was too spoilt lol but now i know i have to harden up with her or she will walk all over me so it was worthwhile and Kelly (the trainer) had different ideas of training - now the hard work starts -AGAIN . Im pleased to hear Skye is doing well she will soon be back to her normal self. I thought it was easier to let lilia upstairs and on the furniture rather than fighting to stop her! I hope the weather holds out for Ladens birthday oh to be 21 again! Hope alls going ok with you now after all your upsets. xx
Hi lynne, sorry not been in touch i really do not know where time goes, i was off work last week and have achieved nothing!! skye is doing really well we went for po-op review on friday morning and brian removed the plaster and was very happy with her, she has not even attempted tp touch her stiches, the hardest thing was keeping her off the sofas so i have admitted defeat today. Hi Chantal, good to hear from you. Time just flies dosent it, can you believe its June tomorrow! Goodness knows where the year has gone! Aww bless her what a good girl she has been not attempting to touch her stitches. I gave up trying to keep V off the sofa, thinking I'd do her more harm trying to keep her off so we went for damage limitation. Venus is doing really well, she only licked at her stitches the once but once we told her no she never bothered again. She is bouncing around like nothing ever happened, and is chomping at the bit to get out with Toby off lead chasing the ball again. She goes in tomorrow to get her stitches out, and boy it aint a day too soon lol Hope all is well with you hun, big hugs and kisses to the gorgeous Skye, speak soon hun xxx
