Need Transport; Ayrshire to NYorks

Dear Gang,

I am seeking transport help to get an elderly Staffy girl from Ayrshire to NYorks (York) or at least a little closer. She was abandoned by her "family" when they moved and taken in by a neighbour who didn't want to see her go to the pound.

I would love to take her into my home but need to get her down here.

Can anyone help or advise?

I would possibley help out getting her to you if somebody could maybe fetch her a wee distance from Scotland.

Have you been in touch with the Scottish Staffordshire Bull Terrier Rescue to see if there is anybody on there that can help with transport?

There is a contacts page that has emails and telephone numbers for all the rescue workers in different regions of Scotland. They also have a forum so maybe join that and see if anybody comes forward?

Offers there still if somebody can get her a bit of distance from Scotland.
