I totally agree! had a horrid moment yesterday... Diesel went up to a couple of women wagging tail not aggressive at all and they went ape saying "that dog should be shot"and one of kicked him in the face and the other grabbed hold off his harness... I kept tryin to say to them your aggression will make him aggressive but being complete fuckwits (scuse my french) they carried on! how daft are some bods? he was just sayin hello! urrr! their ignorance made him react aggressively because he went into "protecting mummy mode" how was he to know they weren't going to turn on me when they were shouting abuse and aggressive behavious towards him! I tried to explain and reason with them but No! my dog should be shot! go figure! personally think it should be the other way round but there you go we live in a society of ejits who believe everythin the read or hear in the news and dont stop to question it. & I live in Stafford! you'd think there would be a better attitude to the local breed. hey ho! get off me soap box but am still niggled by ignoramouses that we meet! lol!
Hell fire Rosie, I dont know how you kept your cool hun - if anyone ever dare to kick one of my two they would have me to deal with! They wouldnt be complaining about the dogs I can assure you!! They would be complaining of devil owners! Reading that has made me so angry. If I still lived in Stafford I'd volunteer to come walking with you in the hopes of meeting the ignorant gits again!!!
