Oh wonderful news, well done! A lot of people would've given up and palmed him off on just anyone. So lovely to have an owner come on here and see that they have actually tried their very best to make sure their dog is safe.
The very best of luck to you both
It drained me a lot - I never thought it would happen, it was getting to the point it was making me ill.
I can even call up and check on him.
A lot of stress today, just had to get a few beers in to mellow out.

Nipping is quite quite normal for a puppy, he's is just playing. When you play with Hugo and he starts nipping do as mentioned above and give him one of his toys to play with. Train Hugo the leave command (very important), and reward him profusely when he does as he is told. Just remember that even though he is nipping now he won't do it forever, he will grow out of it in a few months

Andrea Bannister replied to the topic Re: STAFFY OIL in the forum.clicked on thankyou then instead of return post. I don't know if it would work but apparently if hayfever sufferers have a tsp of honey a day from a locally sourced Bee farm near where they live it helps with the hayfever symptoms, as the Bees will be pollinating in the areas near to where they live it reduces symptoms, if ya get my drift. Would this not work with dogs, if he has allergies to local grasses.......i was just wondering.

PAUL created a new topic STAFFY OIL in the forum.Hi peeps,
As i am sure most of the regulars would know there is a recipe for Staffy oil (from the previous forum. However it is difficult to source wheatgerm oil now on account of low demand, this is one of the ingredients. If i remember rightly there is an alternative but i dont know what. Can anybody out there help?
Also the recipe says to add garlic.....not sure about this as i believe there is mixed views on oinion based ingredients....amnyone used it without adverse reactions in the mix.
Our Bobbi is suffering again with a belly skin reaction tom the grasses around here and although we try to avoid and he has been on a star flower oil it aint working so time to go back to the Staffy oil!

PAUL created a new topic Helllooo........again in the forum.Hi folks,
just found time to visit again since the site has been changed, its been a while since i visited.....two dogs and two teenagers would appear to take most of my time
It would appear that i have had to re-register (despite being a VIP member last time.....but hey ho).
So i have used my original user name as before and will add some photos of both my dogs as soon as i get time.
It would also appear that all the older material has not been migrated from the old site so i have posted a thread in health about STAFFY OIL.
SO HI FOLKS ONCE AGAIN

The amount I'm feeding them doesn't seem much though so I'm worried their not getting enough but iv gone on packet instructions. How much does everyone else feed their dog?
It can seem that way. But as dry food has a far lower water content and your using a good quality one the overall weight of each portion is a lot less than cheaper and or wet foods.
Now they've gotten into it they will hopefully continue. Good quality food in my experience is not only better for their physical health but has a calming effect on hyperactivity.

Aaron Ransom created a new topic Hello! in the forum.Hi! My name's Aaron and I've just joined the site.
We've recently aquired a new family member, he's name is Hugo and he's 8 weeks 5 days old!
We got him from a couple who live close to us. They have both his mum and dad, and they're both lovely dogs.
He's very sweet and friendly, and occasionally crazy!
The only trouble we're having is trying to stop him nipping. He's only playing and at the moment it doesn't hurt, but we want to discourage him before he gets big! Anybody know any tips or things that worked for them?
Thank you very much,
Aaron
