Hello everyone.

As a devoted staffie owner, I thought it was about time I joined up with a community of like minded souls.

We've had Sassy now for 2 years, and what a 2 years it's been. Fun, laughter, strange grunting noises, farting, snoring and burping. That's Sassy by the way, not me - honest.

We got Sassy as a rescue, although at the time we didn't really mind what dog we had. I'm so glad we ended up with her though. I don't think I've ever come across a  breed of dog that's so people oriented - she loves everyone, even the ones I don't like! (Especially the ones who look at you as if you've got satan's slave with you - even more so the one's whose yappy snarling darlings lunge at your dog and then give you a filthy look as if your's started it!) Better stop there, starting to get angry...

I'll end on a cheerier note, given the time of year, and wish everyone a Happy Staffie Christmas.

P.S. Thanks for the welcome comments to those who sent them. I would reply individually but don't know how - I'm a bit of a newbie to this type of thing but will hopefully pick things up as I go.

Welcome to you both couldnot agree with you more about the other people and their dogs as me and my daughter say when we are walking our two if we see someone cross the street or anything like that cos they see us coming we say they are doing the Staffie shuffle LOL

With the help of sites like this, we can only hope that the common misconceptions about our precious staffies are slowly turned round.

 

In the meantime though we can all take some satisfaction in the knowledge that they don't know what they're missing out on.
