New Toy Idea for Staffie Owners

We were at my sisters over Christmas, and my nephew had this toy where whenever you pushed a button it blurted out a pre-recorded message. I fear it was aimed primarily at my brother in law as every time you pressed the button it would say "Danger, Danger, Bullsh@t alert" - sorry mate.

As a proud Staffie owner, I'm sure I'm not the only one who frequently has to endure idiotic comments from people on a regular basis whilst out walking. So here's the idea. Instead of having to engage in conversation with these prats, why not have something that will say it for us instead!

So, with no further delay, here are (tongue firmly in cheek) my initial suggestions...

1. "My, you do know a lot about dogs don't you."

2. "That's right. Although my dog was controlled on a lead, minding her own business, she clearly started the fight with your dog that was running riot at the time."

3. This one would be said louder than the others as the people will have already crossed the road, whilst clutching their children. "Thanks. Your ugly face was starting to worry my dog."

4. "Is that sneer permanent, or do you have to work at it."

5. "Thank you, she is a lovely dog." N.B. This one will sadly not get played as often as it should.

6. And finally, "No....it's not a bloody pitbull!"

Anybody got any other suggestions? Oh yes, I need a name for it aswell - I was thinking either "Prat Alert" or "Give Me Strength"

LOL. I've often thought there should be a handy advice thread on this forum for suitable responses that are not obscene, as it seems as imporatant to Staffy ownership as anyhting else. Better go-I feel a rant coming on....

My often used phrase is "Quick Cairo, over the road, there's a nasty vicious Lhasa Apso there"

This is because he was attacked by one as a puppy and has this intense hatred of them now - plus the small white fluffy brigade normally give me that "killer dog" look.

My favourite would be 'Think yourself lucky my dog cant talk and give you her opinion of YOU!'.

How funny, the little rats on leads frequent some of the places I walk, they ALWAYS bark, they ALWAYS snap and their owners ALWAYS stare at you like you are walking a full grown lion.
Recently there were two barking and going on, my two were being very good as i had a sneaky treat in my hand that they were more interested in. When I suggested the lady come collect her dogs as when they had eaten the treat they may still be hungry she took umbridge. It took her ages to get them on a lead and I was chuckling at this cos her face was getting redder by the minute. I would have liked one that said "please practice catching your dogs at home before you let them loose in public"

Thanks for the great suggestions. I think I might be onto a winner! Ignorance it would appear is sadly alive and well. If only people would open their eyes.

By the way, I'm fairly new to internet slang so had to look up PMSL. Sorry, didn't mean for that to happen....
