Just been on the park again with a friend (who owns 3 staffs) who i go on the park with everyday and a 9 month year old staff came up and started sniffing Lilly, within a second he was growling and trying to bite Lillyand trying to get at her, if i didnt have fast reactions from last time it could of be been luckly i pulled her away i kept putting my foot infront of the staff the bloke ran over and just stood there and was like "i dont know where his lead is" and didnt even react. I got that fustrated and angry i just said "Get that fucking rat of a dog out the way now" he still stood therenot doing anything so i just said again"Move that dog mate because i garantee if you leave it 10 more seconds shell pin it down by the throat" he still just stood there watching gormlessly so i just grabed it and threw it in the air by its color. I was so angry that id kept asking him to move his dog and he did nothing. this all went on for about 40 seconds but after last time that lab went for her i was just laughing to myself thinking if he doesnt move this dog soon Lillys going to make him regret it.

After we walked away and i let Lilly of the lead to play with other dogs I looked behind me and the staff was now trying to get at a border collie.

Some people should just not be allowed to own staffs. They make our dogs look bad.

Oh and Im not against some staffs not liking other dogs because i know they naturally arnt keen on them but if your dog doesnt like other dogs then dont let it of the lead in a park where theres about 12 other dogs running off the lead close by.

Just want to add. Im not upset about this inccident, just shocked it happened again lol.

hi i no what you mean with some people,they dont care,i took my 3 dogs to the park i dont let them off,this bloke looked at me as if my dogs would hurt his dog,he had a mongrel he couldnt control,my 3 dogs only want to play i dont take my dogs off the lead dont take that chance cause of idiots,take a stick with you.i no i am when i take my dogs 4 a walk,they shit there selfs cause ive got 2 huskeys they think they hurt them,my sky the staffy just wants to play they think she nasty she not she justs wants to play,dont stop going or they won,keep at it i no it piss you off,show them if it means you being nasty do it,your dog come first,loads of hugs to you both, xx

oh dear Aaron you are not having much luck lately are you?  Some people just don't deserve to have a dog let alone a stafford!
I would only say that I don't think it is worth having arguments with anyone. I would have taken my dogs away from that dog and his owner straight away.  As you say I am sure Lilly would have pinned this other dog down but you should never understimate another stafford and the last thing you want is to put your dog under any sort of danger.

OMG I'm sure you can't believe it, not again you poor thing!!!! How did your baby cope? I would have been terrified. Some people shouldn't be allowed near dogs never mind own one that is flipping ridiculous people like that should have their dog taken of them as they're the ones giving the breed a bad name. ooH! that angers me! She coped fine all she was doing was wagging her tail, dont think she quiet understood what this dog was trying to do to her.

You poor thing, how frightening for you. i would be so angry too. Lilly is so young and this will affect her if it keep happening, she will be so scared of other dogs if this jerk doesn't pull his dog into line.

You should get his name and repot him to your council, it may not do anything straight away, but if enough people complain about him, he will be asked not to let his dog off the lead and be fined if he does. 

My dogs dont get on well with some other dogs so I dont take any chances and keep them on lead when there are other dogs in the area. its only common sense
