I believe it is the Kennel Club registration confirming your dog is of a particular breed and also that there is no underlying health problem.

There are two types of papers, that are issued by the canine association, in your state or city. The two types are called a main or limited register. The main register is for a dog or bitch that is registered with the canine association of show and breeding quality. The papers display - The pedigree name of the dog/bitch The breed of dog, (Staffordshire Bull Terrier) Tattoo Number. The dog/bitch birth date, The registration number of the dog/bitch, The sex of dog (dog or bitch) , The colour(brindle or black, red and so on), Who bred the dog Who is the registered owner. The sire and Dam of the registered Dog/Bitch 3 generations normally (but this depends on the country). You can show or breed a dog/bitch on a main register. You cannot show or breed a dog/bitch on a limited register. However papers of a limited dog/bitch have all the same information. This is abbey's papers so you can see what's on them. Her pedigree name is Waurstafford Diva Doll. For security reasons i have covered my details.

Are you in Aus, cos the papers shown above are not UK papers.
If you are in the UK, you should get a kennel club registration certificate, which the breeder should sign before giving to you so that you can register your pup in your name. You should be given a 5 generation pedigree, a diet sheet, and copies of the parents health certificates, which should comprise of eye test certificatesd, AHT L2 certificates and AHT HC certificates for both parents. |
