I am going to leave a comment on that bloody paper after walkies but I think it is not going to be a pretty one or as polite as Lynne (good message by the way Lynne).  I am sick and tired of these morons talking rubbish about SBT, it is sickening.  It seems there is a campaign against this breed and I hate it!!

i left a message too ,but i would too like to point out i live on a council estate i worked but had to give it up to care for my  disabled daughter  ,  I miss my Job lots , yes i am on benefits  but i am not scum  and it upsets me that people might think i am,  my kids and my animals  always come first  i have money saved for any eventuality and he is insured i really hope people don't see me as scum  ,if they could cure my daughter i would be back to work in a heart beat i really did love my job ,sorry for the moan it just sticks a knife in when i hear council estate benefit scum x  

Deb, no one here thinks you are scum hun. It just seems that the majority of people against our breed seem to think that all SBT owners are from council houses, on benefits etc etc. Not all people who live in council houses are scum, I've lived in council property, been on benefit and been a single mum, and I know how it upsets you when you are labelled as scum. Some of us find ourselves in council property through events in our lives. I never intended being a single mum, but my marriage broke down. I didnt set out to have kids so that I could get a council house. Your friends on here know about your daughter, and know that you are a responsible dog owner, the fact that you are on a council estate is neither here nor there, and those that judge you for that reason quite frankly are not worth knowing hun. Dont let the views of the ignorant out there upset you. You are amongst friends here.

im here laughing to myself after readign that article if my mam saw that shed say "see", my baby roxy is a year old this sept and honestly my mam hasnt came up to my house (gone from living in my ear to never coming up) because i got a staffy (we rescued bruce a couple of months ago) she told me that as long as i had to dogs she would nt comeup.  my lauren stays in my mams nearly every weekend and religiously every time she comes home and the dogs are in the garden she shouts up to me "mummy will you get the dogs away from the gate theyll go for me" (thats listening to my ma) well i ate my mam that last time it happens , i said "laurens fine all week ith teh dogs but a weekend with you and she comes home AFRAID of the dogs" things arent as bad now but still when my mam is dropping lauren off she just beeps outside she wont come in cos them PITBULLS are out sure my da calls me and my oh PITBULL LOVERS!!!!!!
