Hi everybody, Our new pup Harvey (5months old) has developed a lump on his eyelid over the last couple of weeks. We have been to the vets who told us just to monitor it to see how things develop. (I don't have a lot of faith in our vet for various reasons!) I just wondered if any of you have seen or experienced any thing like this and if so what the outcome was as I don't want to have him sedated and cut about if I can help it. (the next step recommended by the vet).
I have included a couple of pics to show what I mean.
Thanks.

If your not sure about your vet go to another one for a second look. I have before and it made me feel better. Got the answers i was looking for from the second not the first vet.

Did he take any samples of lump to look at?

goodluck and hope they find out what it is

Hi both, thanks for your replies. The lump on Harvey's eye has virtually disappeared now thank goodness. We actually had a conversation with his breeder and they said that this
type of lump can be associated with teething and is not uncommon. They may have something, as we have been picking teeth up all over the house! Will keep you informed if any thing else develops, but thanks again for now.

Jo, I will send you the pics anyhow so you can see what I was talking about, sorry the links didn't work - computers eh! (or is it me!)
