Sadly I lost my Jeddy tonight.

He was given 2 months to live last August having being diagnosed with Stomach Cancer but he fought on for 7 months .I woke up this morning and I knew it was time to let him go.He struggled on our morning walk and spent the day barely moving.For his sake he was put to sleep at 8pm tonight and died with his head in my hands.

Jeddy originally belonged to my Brother and his wife but when they split up he was spending to long alone so I kidnapped him to come and live with me and Tommy about 4 years ago.He was the must loving companion and a great teacher to his younger counterpart Tommy,teaching him manners,recall and generally telling him off when needed.

Ill miss you sitting on the sofa with your leg on the arm rest like you owned the place,I'll mss you stealing the duvet at night and barking at me to get me up to let you out in the morning.I fell like theres a part of missing tonight and its heart breaking to see Tom looking for you.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I know exactly how you feel when you
say you feel a part of you is missing, and the house must seem so empty.

Oh, no!  I'm so sorry.  I've been wondering how Jed was.  I'm so devastated for you.  I'm sorry, I don't know what else to say.  You've done a very brave thing though it probably doesn't feel like it.

 

Run free Jed.  You'll be sorely missed and always remembered.

So sorry Jamie to hear of your loss - i remember last August when you posted about Jedd - youve given him a great life and now he is running free at the bridge.  RIP handsome boy xxx

So sorry to hear about youre loss it is like loosing a member of the family I lost one of my staffys 12mths ago on the 2nd of april this year.Even though I have 2 little beauties now I still miss him (RIP JEDDY) fly with the angels

So sorry to hear that Jedds day has come to join the doggy angels and suffer no more,you should know that one day he will be waiting for you and until then he will run free at rainbow bridge with all our missed beloved pets.Gone but never forgotten and no one can ever take your memories away.You gave Jedd a great life aand you should be proud of that.RIP Jedd with no more pain.xxxxx
