Hi,
When i take Skye on long walks or if it is hot i use an old water bottle, i did try one of those bottles that its attatched to a bowl but she would not have it? would rather that i pour it from the bottle near her mouth and she takes what she needs.

Skye loves to play fetch, i got some kong tennis balls they were about £3 for 3, they squeak aswell and have lasted for ages skye loves them.

I have got a size 8 boomer for skye, you dont really want anything bigger than that.

Good Luck Chantal & Skye x

I have two boomer balls and they are brill, Bullit gets a bit obsessed with it but loves it, he has a 16" one which is great because he cant get his jaws around it, we also have an 8" one and he can get his jaws around that and it has got a couple of holes in it from his strong teeth, luna on the other hand is not bothered with them, she just likes to bit Bullit while he is playing with the ball.  Not been able to find many toys that mine cant destroy within a couple of mins to 1/2 hour.  AS for the water issue, by rights you are not supposed to give your staffie a cold drink straight after a good run, its a shock to their system and can make them sick, its best to let them cool down and then give them a drink, because I take mine to a park which I can only get too by car they have their cool down period in the back on the way home.  hope this helps

i dont bother taking water unless its a very long walk if so i take a bottle, but usually mine will find a stream or pond and help himself, never had any problems! i always buy rope and make loops etc lenny loves no game as much as me vs him in a tug of war. although your instinct tells you to give them water when they are panting they can easily be sick, ive always found its best to let them cool down a bit by panting if really hot then give water.

I just keep a 2L bottle of water in the car, if we go to the off leash park there is a pond there too and Leo usually jumps in and cools off, then has a drink if he wants when we get back to the car. I also keep a stainless steel bowl in the car just in case (Handy for longer trips like beach, he's so buggered after the beach he sits under the car in the shade next to his bowl of water and takes a few drinks and cools off before we get back in the car to go home)

If you find a toy, let me know! LOL I bought a 20 pack of tennis balls, we loose at least 2 of them either by Leo popping them or loosing them in the park every week. Chucked Leo in the car over the easter break to go to the park, chucked a few balls in the back with him and off we went, got to the park 5-10 mins away and had already lost 2 of the 3 cause Leo popped them in half!
