HI EVERYONE, VERY NEW TO THIS SITE, AND NEW TO HAVING A STAFFY. AS I TYPE THIS SALLY IS BY MY FOOT SNOORING, AND SHE IS VERY LOUD, EVEN LOUDER THAN OUR BROTHER IN LAW, WHO HAD TO GO ONTO NIGHTS SO HIS WIFE COULD GET SOME SLEEP.

SHE IS MAD, SO FITS IN WELL WITH US, WE HAVE THREE CATS WHO LOVE TO GET HER ON THE NOSE.  GARFIELD JUST LOVES TO SIT AND LOOK AT HER THEN CLAW HER.

SHE IS NOT VERY GOOD WITH OTHER DOGS, WE GO TO CAR BOOTS AND SHE IS REALLY BAD WITH THEM, TIME WILL TELL, GOING TO MY COUSINS HOUSE WHO HAS TWO YORKIES, ONE BEING MAD BENJI, SO LET HER PLAY WITH HIM AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS.

WE LIVE IN ULVERSTON, WHICH IS TWENTIES MINUTES FROM BOWNESS ON WINDERMERE, BLACKPOOL WITH A LAKE LOL

HI DO ALL STAFFIES SNORE, OUR LITTLE GIRL IS ONLY 11 WEEKS AND IS NEARLY AS BAD AS THE BROTHER IN LAW, AND HE IS GETTING DIVORCED BECAUSE OF IT

LOL they snore really loudly don't they, Dray almost sucks in the walls :)

As for the dog aggression, I would suggest you go to dog training with her, talk to the trainers and tell them the trouble, you need to try to fix this problem before it gets out of control. She may have had a frightening experience with another dog, and she is scared of them, I don't know, but socialisation, and lots of it, supervised of course, will hopefully help. But do get the training underway, if for no other reason than to have an obedient and well adjusted family member. If you look through some of the other forum topics you will find advise on fear aggression and dog aggression, I hope some of this helps you. Sally is a beautiful looking girl and I'm sure your son adores her. I'm faliliar with Autisim, two of my Husband's cousins have Aspergers of varying degrees. Both are high function but have their own issues.

Welcome yet again to the club.

I remember talking to the couple who bred Lola's litter and them telling us they had to wear earplugs in bed (they had 4 Staffs at the time).  I honestly thought they were exaggerating - until I got Lola home!!!

Right from day 1 (7.5 wks) she snored like a pig!  When I took her to see my parents and she fell asleep my mum was convinced she had breathing problems and begged me to call the vets :) x x

Welcome to the club!  and yes they do snore (and fart lots and lots)  there has been more than one occasion that my Lilly has woke me up snoring and I've thought someone was breaking in!  But you do get used to it, as for the farting now that you will never get used to!  Lilly's can strip paint!

Welcome aboard again, Sarah & Lilly xx
