I've read loads of "remedies" for constipation, but first question is - has she been drinking enough?  If it's been hot and she's not drinking much, she could be dried out a bit for want of a better description.  Maybe she needs a really good drink.

I've heard that pumpkin puree is good for both constipation and diarrhoea because of the fibre - but it has to be proper pumpkin pureed and not the tinned pie filling that you can get in supermarkets.  Molasses is good for constipation and I'm assuming that a spoonful of treacle would do the same job cos I've never seen molasses anywhere I have to say.

A spoonful of cod liver oil might help as well.  I know folks that give their dog's a spoonful every day - it's good for their coats, joints and insides.

We'll be wanting a poo update as well so let us know if the poor girl manages to go.

if your dog is still constipated you might need to take her to the vet as she might need to have an enema.

has your dog been eating alot of bones lately?bones can block up some dogs

canned sardines or adding a bit of oil to her diet might help

I don't remember if I saw it at supermarket, but my mum  used use to bake bread and cake.
I've seen it at carp bait and animal food shop in 4 litter container. I was told that is for horse. ( but can use it for any other animal I guess and we used it for carp fishing as well )

Come on Nick1 - has she poo'd yet?

Seriously though, how is she?  Has she managed to get one out?  If you've tried giving her something to shift her and it's not worked, I'd take her to the vet to get checked out - there's nowt worse than being bunged up.

A tummy massage helped Ruby when a bone got her all blocked up!
