hi guys, dnt know if its anything to worry about but Ramsay has started to try and eat anthing green that grows from the ground while walking, the thing is Roxy has picked up his habits and they are both doing it now. any advice guys? cheers

yeah Roxy does im trying to drill it into ramsay now. its bloody hard tho for some reason haha. ill get there tho

patience and time he will get there. use of something more interesting than plants might be the key to grab his attention like treats. x

I'd thought treats because Crowley is eating the exact same poo everytime we go past it [he doesn't do it with any others just that one] but isn't that teaching them that if they eat the plants or the poo they get a treat? |

You use it as a distraction, Coprophagia (poo eating) is done for a few reasons by dogs not just dog poo but horse, rabbit, duck, fox etc . dogs go into scavenger mode and see it as waste not want not, some other reasons for it could be nutritional. |

Yeah, it is horse poo not dog. I don't think it is for nutrition because he doesn't do it with any others, not even different horse poo it's just that one.
Yes he does react well to training with treats so I'll try that thankyou. |
