Is this statement true?

The advert says "youd have to go along way to find a dog that hasn't tried it" blah blah blah

but then they go on to "help is at hand" which is contridicting what they just said lmao. Any way, my dogs haven't tried it and none of my old dogs have either. Infact, I don't know any one who uses it.

Before we knew any better, we did use Bakers.  It was just Neo we had at the time and he'd poo for Scotland and they were really horrible poos.

Dogs love it because of all the flavourings and additives in it - it's like giving kids sweeties full of E numbers!!

I would never feed my dogs that or pedigree chum! YUK!

There are so many good dried foods out there - it's just annoying that supermarkets etc do not stock it, cos many people buy cos it's convienient and probably do not know any better.

I wouldn't feed it either.

My cousin feeds her dog Bakers puppy and I look after her sometimes and Bakers is SO colourful and pretty looking it looks almost tasty to me. I think that's why they do it, so it appeals to humans cos dogs don't give a sh*t what it looks like so long as it tastes nice.

hahaha. I didn't think people would like it either. I thought hang on a minute they are saying every dog has tried it and likes it but I don't know one single person who gives it to their dogs.

I fed one of my dogs on meaty bakers when he went from home made food to dry food.  My home made meals were really bad and unbalanced.  Dogs like bakers cos it's got a sweet flavour and the soft version is better for lazy doggies.  I got him used to dry food using bakers and then I changed to JWB.  I did try a few bakers balls and they weren't bad, they tasted sweet, load of rubbish

My dog's won't even touch a Pedigree treat.  I tried to give them a gravy bite and they both turned their noses up and looked at me like I was trying to poison them!  And for them to refuse a treat, it must be bad!

I'm actually in the process of trying to make up a glossary of terms used in dog foods to try and help novices understand exactly what the ingredients are.  It's a pretty sickening task and a very long task as well but if it helps folk realise just exactly what they're feeding their dogs, then it's time well spent.

I have to say though, I feed mine James Wellbeloved, but I've discovered that JWB do not seem to be willing to offer detailed advice on their practices and exactly what is in their food.  There are many pet food manufacturers that test on animals (and I don't mean giving Fido or Tiddles a bowl of food to taste test) and I'm trying to weed 'em out!  I couldn't actually give you full details of what testing involves cos I read one paragraph and was nearly sick so didn't read any more.

They're crafty devils though, these pet food manufacturers when it comes to labelling ingredients.  It's been an education, I can tell ya!
