hi there, had my staffy for a few months now, he will be 3 years old on xmas eve,

i rescued him, firstly he was miss treated and locked in a kitchen, with no food or water, or he used to get locked outside in the cold, by some horrible woman,

the 2nd owner had him a week, and was going to kill him if he wasnt gone that same day, due to something he did, but wasnt him, it was the other staffy that did it, so he got blammed for nothing,

now i have him, i love him, so much, he is very soft, lets you do anything to him, trusts me so much, he loves kittens, he grew up with 11 kittens,

he was covered n fleas, sores, scabs and hardly had any fur when i first got him

so here he is, muncha,

Hi and a warm welcome to the site, hope you enjoy it here. Muncha is a beautiful dog, lovely colouring and adorable face. Thank goodness you came along when you did - what I would like to do to these people (if you can call them that) who abuse these gorgeous animals! He is obviously very happy with you in his forever home - and a birthday very soon to - happy times ahead xx

thank you wendy

he is good as gold, he is fully trained so at some point someone was intersted in him to train him up

few problems in his first few weeks of staying, chewed up his bed, and messed in one of the bedroooms, but i think that was nerves and just settling in,

he didnt know what to do at first when he got here, like i think he felt he was going to get shouted at and hit,

if you moved your hand to quickly he would flinch and curl up in a corner and cry

he was scared of trafic cones too, wether he has been taumented with them i dont know

also cars on the road going past, he would flinch, as i dont think he was used to walks and going out

he is like a puppy, but he is fine now,

one thing i am struggling with is when he needs to go outide to do his toilets, he wont let me know, but he is slowly starting to tell me and give me signs, ie, sit and stare at me, and keep wondering back and fourth,

he gets spoilt here, sleeps on the bed, fuss and cuddles all the time, which he loves and he cant get enough of it lol

i love him

He's stunning (Wow, pic overload! LOL but love them! He is a lovely looking boy) He's very lucky to have found you (Or very lucky to find each other? ) And sounds like a gem too. Looks like a big baby!

With the toileting, only thing i could suggest would be regular trips outside just like you would with a very young pup. When my dog was learning i would ask him everytime i opened the door to let him out, Toilet? I stood by the door and when he did start going would tell him 'Good boy, go to the toilet' and as he walked back through the door a scratch on the head an another good boy. Now he stands next to the door and if i dont notice him and hes gotta go he starts knocking the blinds about and or 'talking' Grumble mumble winey noises

And is very good now with toileting on command, i tell him go to the toilet and he will. On rainy days i almost have to push him out the door and tell him GO TO THE TOILET! I know you gotta go! and he reluctantly does (Hates the rain! Actually went potty in a corner oneday at like 8months old after being perfect for months and months, it was rainy heavily that day, thats when i started to tell him GO!)
