Hi, I agree with all of the above, but I have also discovered a food called Naturediet (puppy version also available) which is made from natural meat, rice and veg. I now feed this to my dog and it suits him really well, plus his poo is better formed on this food, rather than the mixture of hard and runny which it was on the JWB.

I think the most important thing with all pups is to be firm and stick to your guns becaues the cuteness can get in the way when they do something naughty and therefore they dont learn what is bad behaviour and what is acceptable.

As for the history of Blue staffs, someone once told me that blues tend to be more of the Irish staff and someone else told me that staffs that have the blue gene in them are more likely to have pitbull in them too. Whether this is true or not i cant say, however, Storm is a blue fawn brindle and he really is my baby. His fur is much softer than any other staff we hav ever had.

As for the price being higher, i can agree that they are more expensive although i really dont know why

Have a look at Julie's page (soverenstaff) she has heaps of food recipes for our fur babies. Tin food is not really the best thing for your dog. It is made up of all the rubbish meat. I believe that if you are not willing to eat the meat then why should your dog. It is no more expensive and can actually be cheaper to make the food yourself. The best bit is your dog will be really healthy, well muscled, shiny an you will know exactly what your dog is eating
TREAT OTHERS THE WAY YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE TREATED
