No he hasn't told me what to do after the baths but he only gave me enough for 2 baths and I have to take her back on Monday. She is already having Advocate. I asked for it when she first went to the vets as I had read about the damage eaing slugs and snails could cause and we have loads. As she was only 6 weeks when she first went to the vets and he said they can't have a full dose in one go when hey are little but need more as they grow, she has been having the dose topped up every month since.
As for insurance I don't have usual insurance but I do have the one the vet offers. With this I don't have to pay any vaccination or consultation fees and all emergency treatment/operations are free. I do however have to pay for medication but get 20% off everything I have to pay for and 10% off food and toys etc.

hi ka, lovely to hear form you, how are the aludex baths going, i know is not nice, has your vet given you any advice for treatmen once you have finished the 6 baths? i was advised by mine to use Advocate which is like frontiline except it also targets the demodectic mite, i have been using this since we finished the baths and 'touch wood' no more outbreaks also hun if you have insurance do make a claim as imy money back minus my excess of course, big hugs to tasha,spk soon chantal xx

hi lynne, i am so pleased for you and can just imagine you telling them NO you cannot use my new laptop, and so true my dear in what goes around comes around look at me the other week after laughing at carl i ended up on my backside so who do you think had the last laugh. i am good hun just getting over a cold & cough which is never nice but looking foward to christmas we are going to the lake district on 28th dec it will be our 1st holiday with skye so really looking foward to it, not as exciting as yours i know (it is florida right?) but carl (the big softie) cannot bear to leave skye ,i am shopping like a mad woman at the moment trying to get all my presents by the end of the month, i have managed it the last 2 yrs so i am feeling very positive that i shall do it 3rd time round too, how about you have you done yours yet? skye on the other hand is been a bit of a madam lately she has started attaking the wallpaper in our hallway, really unusal for her not sure if it is attention seeking otr not though so this morning i gave it a good go with the bitter apple spray which is what i used before when she was teething, and today she has not touched it so hopefully i can nip it in the bud, she has aslo started pulling a lot more on her lead she wears a non-pull harness but this does not seem to stop her i am going to try going of with my old faithful spray bottle and considering a canny collar as i see so many people been taken for a walk by thier dogs that i will be dammed if i am going to join that club i think it would push me over the edge if she got like that. how are toby & venus doing been well behaved i hope. spk soon hun chantal & skye xx
Hi Chantal, Oh well Dell has phoned and said they are coming Friday now (tomorrow) we'll have to see what tomorrow brings lol Just thankful I got my backup lol I'm working on a list of instructions should hubby ever ask to borrow it lol Hope you are over your cold now, these things are never pleasant - but we have to get on with it don't we. You will have a great time at the lake district, its a beautiful area, Skye will have lots of exercise in that area. Maybe not as exciting as Florida (its somewhere I always wanted to go - but with my back I wont get the thrill of the rides as I would have a few years ago - still its for the kids - and we are fullfilling my parents wish.) But its really starting to cut me now about being parted from my two especially Toby - at this moment I could cheerfully stay home with them! So I can fully understand where Carl is coming from! You are doing well with your presents - Ive got Soph sorted, and have a little something for Mark. I'm getting Damien something while we are over there (his choice) As for the rest of the kids I'm just sending money for them. I have to get something for Marks mum, and bits for Soph to give to her friends and teachers, but apart from that I'm done! Just got it to wrap up - oh and I must get my cards! I certainly WON'T be missing the fight in the shops for the last minute fresh stuff! Toby is just great, on the lead, off the lead and at home, Venus on the other hand is going mad with chewing at the min, she is getting through that many toys and has started on the skirting in the kitchen, the back seat belt in the car and a few other places! She also pulls like hell and I got one of those canny collars, but all she does is fight against it - half the time her two front paws are scratching at her nose to try and get it off, and she manages it on quite a few occassions - she walks nicely for a few minutes, I start to relax then she will do it ! Little minx! She's far more determined than Toby ever was! As for that anti chew spray she got hold of the bottle chewed the top and started to lick at the contents! So I'm forever yelling OY lol Maybe its a bitch thing! I say that because Di has problems with Lilia and I think a few others have devil girl dogs lol Same as humans hey lol Right must go get ready, its almost time to get Soph to school, catch you again soon hun. Hi Chantal. Not sure about Lilias diet. Shes not so mad and jumping up when we are out walking but night time she is still a fidget - i think thats cos next door are always crashing around and talking loudly! She seems to like her food but seems a bit hungry at times. She has her fruit salad when i go to work in the mornings LOL. She loves apples, pears and banana! Hope you are all well. xx

Dell should have come out today but phoned me yesterday to tell me that they didn't have the parts to fix it.
