[quote="lynne"]Hi Lynne, crikey its all happening for you at the moment isnt it!. lol Do you know I mentioned to Craig the other day what are we gonna do about the loo when the bathroom finally gets done. He said well we could get a porter loo in the front garden!. I said you what if you think I'm going out the front door with a loo roll over two fingers and smiling to my neighbours as I go in you've got another thing coming. I had to put my foot down Lynne its a matter of principle isnt it. lol Fair play to you for using the bucket method, it might just come to that for us this end. C'mon plumber come back with my quote. Toby looks like he is really enjoying Venus's company doesnt he!. Bless him. Big hugs all round. Happy Birthday Sophie !. xxxx
Hi Lynne, Ive just done a blog about the rope toy....and if you are offline soon ill know why she is adorable thou xxx looks like she will be keeping you on your toes spk soon pam xxx
hi there lynne soz not been in touch. not been online been busy. venus is STUNNING such a wee cutie. how is toby getting on with venus? how did u get toby and venus names next 2 there pic were it says ur pets name. kels x
hi lynne, i noticed the toy you have just got was a rope toy..they can be dangerous, my next door neighbour has a king charles and she warned me about them when i got my first dog being scooby....Her dog was shredding it and she never realised that she was swallowing it and it wrapped itself round her intestines and she had to have an operation..the dog is fine but lost part of her intestine and she is about 12years old now and it happened when she was a pup.. just letting you know cause of venus they have such sharp teeth and love to chew when they are pups...and to be honest i was shocked when my neighbour told me this cause you wouldnt think that this could happen, you would think if they did swallow any they would just pass it..Do you think i should do a blog about this, venus and toby get on well is venus into everything because she looks a live wire spk soon pam xxx
hi lynne, thanks so much for your kind comments it really does mean a lot to me, and yes luckily i do have insurance, done claim form at vets today, my excess is £80 so will get most of it back, but to be honest i am just so glad that she is okay for now, just hope her ear doesn't cause any problems in the future, brian (vet) said it should just close up, so fingers crossed, i am fine otherwise, how about you the busy bee, you must really have your hands full, but i bet your loving it, loving the pics of toby & venus they do look so cute toghether. spk soon hun, chantalx
I cope cos i love her! The crates too big to go in my bedroom but i think you're right cos most saturday nights i sleep on the sofa with her so i get a lie-in on sunday morning and she doesnt stir much before 7 o'clock. I will have to think what i gonna do. I bet Venus will be bemused by the rain - does Toby like it? I love your new profile picture by the way. Speak soon. di x
Hi Di, they are such people dogs they just hate it when they are not with you. I have an old cover that I throw over our bed, that way he dosent ruin the bedding, or get it covered in hairs. Toby is not at all keen on the rain, I still dont know what Venus is like with it, it had stopped briefly when she went out. I tried to change my pic last night but I had to make it smaller still, and it was so late by then, but I didnt realise I had a blank box lol I'm catching up slowly but surely. Speak soon hun xx
The silly thing is she goes into her cage quite happily without any whinging or fuss. I dont know if its cos it gets light early or she sees cats in the garden or its just become a silly habit to wake up early. She usually goes out and has a wee so its is for a reason. Then she will hop back into her cage and curl up again! I wouldnt have a problem with her on my bed except for the fact that i cant really trust her not to want to chew anything she can get hold of and if Mum & Dad looked after her they would prefer her to sleep in her cage. Having said that they used to let my old Lab x Daisy up on the bed and she was a big lump. I dont mind the 5 o clock alarm as that gives me time to get organised for work as i start at 8
