we must be comes with our ages i think lynne, mind we have to be mad to own a staffie, but couldnt think of another breed i would want to own now, not sure about when i will get luna done, bullit already so not to worry about unwanted pups, but if i want to show her she will need to be whole so will see in the next year or so if i dont have time to show will definately be done, dont think i could cope with having to let the puppies go
Aww it would be nice to show her if you could fit it in. I've never heard of any fun day do shows anywhere near us, which is a shame, as although I wouldnt want to do it seriously, I'd have a go at a fun day. My only worry about having a litter is letting the puppies go - I have said to Mark that we'd probably end up keeping them all - he just laughs, I think he thinks that I'm joking! We'd end up over run with staffies lol But I'm like you, I couldn't imagine owning any other breed, I only wish I had discovered the delights of this breed earlier! speak soon hun xx
too right lynne, my best breed was always the rotti until my niece got her staffie and i fell in love, right off to bed now knackered, night night hun sleep well
Hey Amanda, love your latest set of pictures, your two look the picture of health, you should be so very proud of them hun. Give them a big hug from me, speak soon hun xxxx
Aww Thanks Lynne for your lovely comments about the pics. I have been out this evening round my sister's new house and i have just got back and Colin said Morgan has been limping on her back leg :(
About 18 months ago Morgan had to have a special x-ray done it cost £300 as they thought she had a problem with her back legs as she will occasionaly after excercising start limping really bad and holding her leg up. The X-ray showed everything was normal and her hips are ok so she had to have minimal excersise and only lead walking and she gained a bit of weight, we gradually introduced more excercise and she has been fine although when at the vets they say they are a bit stiff and she will probably have arthritus when she is older.
Colin has just carried her out for a wee and has carried her upstairs as this is what we have to when she is limping, they think she just pulls a muscle and as staffies have high pain thresholds instead of like us if we hurt we would stop she doesn't until it really hurts causing her to limp by the morning she should be ok... If not i will take her straight to the vets. I wont be able to take her out tomorrow now :( I guess todays run was a bit too much for her but she hasn't limped for a about 6 months xxxxxx
god what have we let ourselves in for lynne with these little girls
Heaven only knows hun lol But I have said I'm having Venus done as soon as I can, but, get this, I want another little girl (a light red) and I would love one litter of puppies before getting one of them done! I must be a bloody fool because you shouldn't breed till they are least 18 mths I believe - so I'll have to go through girlie seasons again and again !!! I'm mental !!!!

I know exactly what you mean, luna goes and stands over bullit with her bits right in his face and then he will throw her on the floor and try to hump her, he is trying alot at the moment and she gets very mad with him and has a real snarl, i think she maybe starting to come into season, she is just 6 months, but i have no idea as never ever owned a bitch before, im going to ask her breeder tomorow as they are coming over to see her. Poor bullit and toby for taking it. Mind bullit will give as good as he gets, we still need to use the water squirter when it gets abit out of hand but mainly luna as she sounds so vicious, shes like a little bat out of hell hee hee, take care big hugs to everyone
Hi hun, I believe they can come into season anytime from 6 mths onwards. Yes Toby does make her holler every now and then lol But you have to let them show these girls that they cant always get away with it. Usually a firm oy does it here, they look at me as if I've gone daft lol I'm dreading Venus coming into season, think I'll have to get some pants in for her lol Speak soon hun xx
god what have we let ourselves in for lynne with these little girls
hi lynne, great video, toby is so patient with venus, mine two would have had a massive scrap by now and the water squirter would be out.
Hi Deb, thanks for the comment hun. Tobys face is all scratched poor love, Venus never gives him a minutes peace when she's awake lol He tried humping Venus yesterday but he had us in stitches, he was trying to hump her HEAD!!!!! Give the lovely Bullit and Lunar a big hug, and speak soon hun xx

Just wanted to thank you for all your lovely comments on my pics. You are very kind!
The shot on the beach was taken in Cornwall on Gwenver beach, near Sennen. I can recommend it if you are ever down that way with your dogs, it's dog friendly all year I believe. You have got a couple of beautiful dogs there too!
Hi hun, excuse me for a minute but I do not f...... believe it but here I am!. Dont ask me what I did but suddenly it just returned to the page I would normally get when I come on here with the little black Staffy and not the pictures I was getting!. What a bloody relief!. Hi Julie, thank you so much for your lovely comments on my latest pics, hope all is calm with Abbey as she is nearing her time, wish I was nearer so I could come and help out and gain some experience, give her a big hug for me, speak soon xxxxx
Hi Lynne, Your welcome, i don't comment unless i like the Staffordshire's, i like to think i am a honest person.
Your two are so lovely, if your boy was closer i would use him.
Abbey is fine, i can feel bumping going on in there, abbey keeps looking at her tummy.
i am totally wired at the moment, she is not due until Thursday but i start taking temps 3 times a day on the last week. Once you get a temp drop, you should have puppies within 24 hours. But they don't all go by the book.
