Hi Lynne-just got back from having a nice meal-my weekend treat-no cooking. That bloke you were arguing with sounds a right ars*hole-good on you hun for putting him in his place the total kn**. Definitely dont get a small animal-we had a lovely little hamster called Poppy-gorgeous little thing-she never bit anyone-lived for absolutely ages until one night my daughter Alex cleaned her out and forget to shut the door properly. She opened the door-climbed down from the table and bless her probably walked straight over to Max and Jasmine who were in the kitchen she was so trusting. I came down strairs and Max had killed her-the whole family were really upset-Alex was devastated -you know-she was only a hamster but we all really loved her. I said to Jade-never again. Weather here is gale force winds-little Jas was struggling to walk in it today and she found the hedgehogs babies this morning-the one she attacked yesterday had a nest of babies-tiny little thing it was-she dropped it though because I screamed so loud. Hope you have had a relaxing day chick and will speak to you later. xxxxx
Hi Lynne, I know I don't know what happened really, one minute it was on the loo the next it was in my hand and yes I just put it back on and pretended nothing had happened. It didnt help Craig roaring with laughter at me, still I got my own back when he got into one of the fbre glass baths and it made a noise just like a fart. lol That then set Meg off so we all had no chance after that did we. Oh the fun you can have in a branch of Wickes. Sounds like your doing really well with all the driving, which is great cos theres nothing worse than feeling confined to barracks hey! lol FREEDOM How long is it now Lynne till you pick up Venus, how lucky are you to have someone to look after them both for you. Well depending on Poppy ofcourse!. That woman must be a real gem, look after her Lynne. lol Yeah I was pretty p..... off on friday night, but was he sorry when I got back I milked it for all it was worth though as you can imagine. Better go now Megan's got a friend round and she needs to use the phone to call her dad as they have lost there hamster in the house somewhere!. lol Speak soon hun Lucie and Belle (Love to Toby and rest of family). xxxxxxx
Hi Lynne, glad to hear you're all slowly getting better,I try not to use my car if I don't have to but it would drive me mad if I couldn't drive at all, living in the country like we do it would cut you off a bit & the dogs do expect to be chauffered places! I do a bit of Reiki & massage when somebody asks me,most people I know know I do it & they just ask so I don't really do it as my buisness but I keep my hand in so to speak.Great news about the pup!!How exciting, the waiting must be really hard!Hope to see pics when she moves in!!Roni & Reggie are absolutely fine, enjoying the sun, lounging in their fave chair by the window, can't overdo these things you know!Speak to you soon babs xx
hi lynne, yes my dear you are spot on, i am indeed a dental nurse, i work in a nice little private practice in clerkenwell which i love. i'm glad toby is doing well, i have to agree with the people you see when you are out, i think that he is a big boy, compaired to skye whom was 7 months on 13th people actually can see that she is still a pup. i do hope that he behaves for you when you start walking him, he will probably test your patience to the max! good luck!! well done to you for sending that plonker on the forum back to under the stone where he rightfully belongs. lets hope he stays there too! you know what i think it is people like him that are giving our staffies a bad name, could you imagine if he actually owned one, that nasty aggression would be passed on to the poor dog. I was walking to the shop yesterday evening and i walk past a small park, i dont actually take skye on it as dog owners that do do not know what poo bags are, so that says it all, but anyway he had a bull terrier could not tell if it was staffie or pit and he was ragging this dog with a stick shaking its head, pulling it and saying 'see it off', i actually turned away in disgust. This pratt that was on the sun forum, using the fact that he was in one of the forces, is nothing more than a male chauvinist pig in my eyes resorting to violence because he has nothing better to do or say i expect, well done to you for putting him in his place! it is people like him that give our country a bad name and i'm sure that if he had a staffie then he would still be one of those people that are giving our lovely staffies a bad name too. take care hun, spk soon chantal & skye
Hi Lynne-hope you are ok-I know you were quite busy with the sun forum yesterday-hope that went good. My shoulder has ben really painful yesterday-same as yours I guess-the gel is ok but not as effective as oral medicine I dont think. Took 2 of the dogs up the fields today-minus Max who doesnt believe in getting wet and Jasmine managed to find a hedgehog hiding under the bushes. I got Amber to come out with the promise of a biscuit but Jasmine I had to grab by the collar through a load of nettles and drag her out-her mouth and front were covered in blood -I am hoping the blood is from her rather than the poor hedgehog-I even had to remove a spike which was embedded in her mouth-but she wont learn-she has attacked 3 hedgehogs so far-the last time with Max and they managed to kill that within 30 seconds. Horrible habits terriers have. Hope you are having a good weekend so far-minwe is a wet weekend but I suppose its like that probably everywhere. Speak to you soon hun. xxxxxx
hi lynne, glad to hear that you are feeling better hun, but make sure that you do take things slow, i know its hard but it will be so much better for you in the long term. we are all good thanks, just been really busy, june is a busy month as so many family birthdays and i have been doing some extra hours a work, we have started offering sedation for nervous patients and law says that you need 2 nurses so i go in, mind you its nice when i get paid. i'm so excited for you venus is a little stunner, what more can i say i do have a soft spot for blue staffies, skye is 7 months old now and doing very well all went well at her 6month check, and we have her on a new treatment for the demodex called advocate, which is like frontline, the patches that she had have gone and no new ones so seems to be working, so fingers crossed. how is the handsome toby doing ? behaving himself i hope, how old is he now? i think that you are doing a great thing on the sun forum, i am suprised you have only managed to meet 1 plonker though, as there is so many of them out there judging our staffies when they have'nt got a clue, you go girl!!! and i loved the poem to added. so nice to hear form you. spk soon chantal & skyexxx
OOOH Lynn nearly Sunday!!! you MUST put some pics of your new baby on here, I'm getting excited for you!!LOL.Have you got it all organised for the new arrival?
Have you seen my pic of the pup with his eyes open? They all have little squinty eyes now so adorable! I have to admit we will be keeping Tehya and that'll be it then, no more.I could'nt cope with anymore. But she's the first born from this litter and we lost 3 so it's extra important to us.Then in about 6 wks Honey will be neutered. I'm going to advertise the pups soon, not sure where to put then nationally, maybe E.Pupz? Anything you can suggest? Then we have our local pet shop that we get everything for our Staffies, we can advertise there for free & our Vets. We're know as 'The Staffie family' to most people LOL!!! We even have people ask us advice!! I'm looking forward o re-decorating our conservatory this weekend, re-painting, got a new table & chairs and looking for gorgeous Staffie prints to put on the walls. I bet you can't wait for Sunday, you probably won't sleep Sat night!! Luv Ali xx
Hi Lynne, nice to hear from you too hun!. We are doing alright this end, can't tell you how great it was to hear your making real progress with the shoulder. Fantastic news!. Went to look at a few loos tonight and accidently pulled the loo seat off one of the display items. Hey ho. lol God you feel the testosterone at the door of Wickes. lol Got in a few baths they all feel different you know!. lol I will make a final decision when I've looked at a few more. ha ha Hope Toby is well and the rest of the family. How are the preparations for Venus going. She is just gorgeous bless her. Took Belle out tonight and she so played up cos there were horses being ridden around the field. Craig got the hump cos she wouldnt behave and walked home and left me to walk her on my jack. Not impressed I have to say. Speak soon hun Lucie and Belle xxx

If all the servicemen who serve our country then its a case of God help us. Thank god I know there are many many decent level headed men and women in the forces. Speak soon hun, take care xx
