Amanda xx
Hi Amanda, thanks for the comments on Toby, poor dog was trying to have a kip, but having found Sophies box of hair things she insisted on seeing what Toby would look like in them lol. I'm not better, they have decided I have a slipped disc, and I now have to find a muscle relaxant drug which agrees with me, up to know they have made me feel really ill. I have to limit my time on the computer because of the pain, but I've been having withdrawal symptoms, so I'm coming on for short periods at a time. It's great to be back though, I've really missed everyone. Hope all is well with you and yours hun, speak soon xx
Hope the little one is better and the vet visits are but a memory.
Thank you. Yes Morgan is feeling alot better. We have been to the vets again today to have the stitches checked and it was a little weepy so they have given her some antibiotics and we have another appointment on the 6th June, hopefully to have them removed.
hows u and your dogs doing i hope morgan is feeling better, no new puppie yet but am sure some thing will come up soon i hope lol, its now been 7 weeks with out mindy and we miss her so much
Some people are complete idiots! Almost every puppy will get excited if you stop to make a fuss of it. Like you said you are training Marley - hes only a baby and it takes time. After what you told them they should have put their dogs on a lead - can you imagine if they tried to attack yours there would be nothing you could do - it was bad enough when that medium sized dog attacked Lilia. We just have to forgive people their ignorance and hope our dogs do not get harmed. We have been to a trainer tonight and started clicker training and am starting classes on 11th June. There was an agility ring there and Lilia was all over so watch this space Di x

Hi Amanda, Can you believe it i took Lilia out last night and as we can round the corner there was a older woman with her old retriever i had met her previously and she looked down her nose at Lilias and said thats 'one of those staffies - you're going to have your hands full'. This time i couldnt get Lilia on her lead and she took off full pelt at this womand and her dog. She bounced around the dog a few times then ran and jumped up at the woman who turned her back on her. She had three or four runs inbetween the woman and the dog and i was desperately trying to catch her. The woman was shouting 'she jumps up' i told her to ignore her and i would get her on her lead. She was making a real scene and Lilia was getting even more excited. In the end i lost it and told her Lilia was an 8 MONTH old pup and excitable and friendly and i apologised (sarcastically) for being the only person with a dog that was uncontrollable. I asked her if her dog was so well behaved as a pup. She had a really snotty attitude and looked at us as if we were mass murderers all because of Lilia's breed. The only good thing is Lilia jumped up and made her step in some dog poo! God help the next person who mentions Lilias breed to me! Di
It is so annoying isn't it?? What is wrong with some people. I had a similar thing yesterday when i was walking the dogs as i am trying to concentrate on Marley with his training i took my son who is 15 with me and he was holding Morgan. Now i would not normally do this as he is only 15 but i was with him and if anything started i would be there to handle it.
Anyway we are walking side by side in the woods on a narrow path way and in the distance i spotted to rotties of there leads and i could see the owners a little behind them, so i took Morgan of my son and was holding both dogs. As we approached the owner he shouted are your dogs visicous ??? I replied no they are not but Morgan is recovering from an op on her paw and Marley is only 17 weeks and my son would not be capable of holding Morgan should the dogs squabble.
Still he kept his dogs off the lead and bent down to speak to Marley who was so excited and jumped up at him getting him covered in mud, his words to me where you need to train him!!! Then one of his dogs went and sniffed morgan's stiches on her back and morgan growled to worn him off, he then carries on saying that Morgan could do with training!!! Bloody cheek Morgan was well behaved and his dogs where circling her.
You would have thought that as he had rotties he would understand and had the courtsey to put his dogs on there leads. I get so fed up with it !!
Oww shes been through it then eh!! give her a hug from me!.people have been saying that the bee movie was gd but ill take it from you lolxx i wont bother with that one lol megx
