Hi Deb, Plenty of wine but no hangover. I have got older and wiser (believe it or not) i always have a glass of water after each glass of wine! I bet you wanted to kill Bullit when he scratched your rug they are little buggers when they get something into their heads arent they? Ive caught Lilia scrabbling on my suede chaisse lounge - not good! Im looking forward to picking the little monkey up ive missed her especially the kisses and cuddles! By all accounts shes been a good girl apart from the 'odd episode' as mum put it! Mum took her out this afternoon and met four old fogeys out walking and three of them ignored her the third chap came up to her and said 'dont jump up - sit' and mum said she sat there as good as gold. he thought she was adorable! Bless her she knows how to turn on the charm (like her mummy - oops). Catch you later. Di xx

Hi Di, has Lilia had her bath yet, bet she smells absolutely DEVINE heehee. These girls of ours certainly now how to have a good time, rolling in SHIT of any kind. Just read Debs "SHIT POEM" it was really good and totally true. Well Luna has just leant how to jump on the trampoline and the window sill now so I suppose this will become her fave spot to sit with Bullit now. She is so different to Bullit, where he is very laid back and never barks, she is very watchfull and protective, she doesnt really bark but lets this little growl out as a warning to passer bys or at things she has not come across before. The play so rough sometimes but at least it wears them out. Have a good sunday, lunch with your parents, will Lilia get a massive yorkshire pud heehee. Di can I just ask what you feed Lillia on, I have always given Bullit nature diet and dry complete in the morning but the last couple of weeks he has turned his nose up to it, so im contemplating doing a sort of BARF diet but with the meat part cooked, dont think I can feed raw meat. Well enough of me blabbing on and on. Take care Debi
Hi Debi, its good to hear from you hope you are all better now. Have left Lilia at mum and dads with instructions to bath her! She got wet last night and the smell came out again - yuk! Its not a very girlie thing to do is it? And its bloody embarrassing walking her home with shite all over her white head and back! Oh well lets hope they grow out of it eh? Aw bless Luna they must look so cute sitting there watching the world go by. Shes a good girl to warn you of the dangers! Lilias fav thing now is to stand on the bed with her feet on the rad looking out at the cows and barking when they get too close! No Lilia didnt get a yorkshire pud im a horrible owner and will not give her tit bits! When I had Daisy she always scrounged when you ate and it was a pain. Lilia just curls up in a chair when i eat she will get the odd bit of chicken or meat in her food but nothing else. I feed her on James Wellbeloved luckily shes not at all fussy. Sometimes she wont eat it straight away but on the whole she does. Anyway must dash got to have a clean up as a little puppy decided to shred every toy shes got and their is a trail of mass destruction all over the house! Take care. Love to all. Di xx
Afternoon Di, well i bet lilia is smelling sooooo much better now she has come home from nan and gramps house. Yes I have just picked up the reminants of a pink fluffy pillow, it looks nothing like a pillow now, its chucking buckets of rain and im having to go to work in about an hour. Well speak soon Debi have a nice evening
Hi Deb, Lilias still away until tomorrow. Apparently not long after i left her she decided to try to dig the floor covering up in the conservatory and was promptly dragged out for a walk! Apart from that shes been a good girl - probably spoilt rotten though Dad has a habit of 'accidently' dropping a bit of his tea on the floor! Been wet and windy here all day too. Am off for my girls night in in a mo (God help my head in the morning!). Take care xx
Afternoon Di, thought I would mail you to see how big a head ache you have heehee, hope you had a good time. Oh dear, Lilia and the flooring, Bullit did something similar a couple of weeks ago, we had a rug in the living room as we have laminate flooring and it was getting a bit worn and Luna had had a few accidents on it and even when you scrub them I still think they leave a little ordour behind, so when I new she was over toileting in the house I bought a new rug, 60 pounds it cost me. two days later I came home from the shops and Bullit has scratched and scratched in one place until he had worn a big hole in it, I could have killed him, he has never done anythng like that before. I think because this is a thicker pile rug he was trying to rough it up to lay down like he does in his bed. So I had to go out and buy another one and this time when we leave the house I squirt it with Training Spray and touch would he has not attempted it since. I hope you recover enough for when Lilia comes home cause you know she will jump and kiss you all over and thats not always best with a hangover. Speak soon Debi
Hi Deb Plenty of pinot but no hangover. I have got older and wiser.
forgot to ask as well lynne, how much do you give them do you split the 450kg packet into two meals with the kibble
For the two dogs (Venus only being 3 mths old, so it will increase) I use 3 packs over 2 days, about 1 and a half a day) When I had Toby on his own I was giving him one packet a day, and not weighing the kibble, but just using my own judgement. Luckily he knows when to stop, and dosent eat for the sake of it - so he really tells me ! He was on 2 meals a day before Venus, but since having her he looks so forlorn when I feed her at lunch time, that I have started giving him lunch as well ( but reducing breakfast and tea to compensate so he is still getting the same amount of food over 3 meals rather than 2 meals) Hope this helps hun xx
Lynne can I just ask, as this is what I have been doing, do you cook the meat before you add to the jwb, and do you give them fruit and veg with this too. my two do get a good oil base from the fishey things they have a couple of times a week
No hun, against my better judgement, I just thaw it out and give it raw, blood and all!!!! It does make me want to heave many a time, but the dogs are thriving on it. I do give a bit of fruit between meals as treats, some days, and other days I give thm a bone to knaw on. I mix with the JWB because it is a meal in itself and contains most of what they need. I dont have the storage facilities to do a complete barf diet and if I'm truthful, I hate cooking, so this is the next best thing in my eyes. Speak soon hun xx
Afternoon Lynne, nice to hear you are getting stronger but you must try to eat a little often to get your strength up, Luna has now learnt how to jump up on to the unit and then onto the window sill like Bullit so both are purched just like chinese ornimental dogs heehee, they are both doing really well but Bullit has been funny with his nature diet food of late and turns his nose up at it, I have been trying to find out about the BARF diet but I just cant be feeding raw food, and if its cooked the nutrients are lost and I have read so much info about what to use and what not to use and one person only ever gives her dogs meat and bones no veg or fruist or suppliements, just like a wild dog would eat in the wild, I just am so confused, so im going to continue with the nature diet and every other day im going to cook up some meat and veg/fruit as a treat and something different and see how that works. Well have a lovely afternoon Lynne, send massive hugs to Toby and Venus
Hi Deb, your two sound just like Toby, he went off the nature diet and menu and now just wont touch it at all. I worried like you and even resorted to our stewed steak and casseroled liver and kidney! Now I use the blocks of raw ( I dithered over it for a long time, thinking would it give him the taste for blood) but decided to try a couple one week - I mixed it with JWB and he wolfed it down, to be honest I have never looked back. There are some flavours he is not so keen on (chicken and turkey) but he loves the lamb, rabbit, beef, tripe (although that is like papermachee cardboard and stinks to high heaven - but it dosent touch the sides when it goes down!) I mix with the JWB then I know he is getting everything he needs and I use Julies oil mix just for good measure. Venus has known no other diet and loves it, both have fantastic glossy coats, and Toby hasn't limped after exercise since we've been on the oil. The choice at the end of the day is yours hun, but just thought I'd let you know I agonised over it for ages, and can honestly say its the best thing I ever did. For the first time last night I actually fancied a bit of mashed potatoe and onion gravy, so I had a bit with a bit of meat and actually quite enjoyed it. So I'm getting there slowly but surely. Just wish I could sleep properly now!! Give your two a big hug from me, speak soon hun xx

Lynne, when you have the procedure just keep thinking TEA & TOAST, TEA & TOAST heehee. Im sure everything will go fine for both you and my sister, she also wishes you luck when I told her about you having to have this done too. Its ice to now you always have Toby and Venus to come and cheer you up when you are down, Your mum dying must have been awful for all of you but to a young child hospital is supposed to be about getting better and its hard for them to understand sometimes. When my dad died 4 years ago, Zac and Tia were far to young to go to the funeral so after I picked them up from school we went and bought an helium balloon both wrote a message to their grandad and we attached the messages in special plastic envelopes and let the baloon float towards heaven, well to were grandad's new home was going to be as far as they were concerned, I think doing this helped them and they werent sad. Well all my best to you Lynne, you take real good care of yourself, let me know when you are going in. Hi Deb, to be honest I would think after swallowing down the camera the last thing you would want is toast lol But I could be wrong!!! Yes I know what you mean about the kids being too young, Soph and Chloe were 8 and 7 when mum died and I had the funeral when they were at school, as I thought how on earth do they cope with all these adults openly weeping, so the funeral was all over by the time they came home. We did things similar to you to let them say goodbye. I'm feeling a lot brighter today, but still having to force myself to eat a bit, but it'll come soon, I do usually love my food. Hope Bullit and Lunar are both being good for you, take care hun, speak soon xx

Aww Lynne, Im sorry to hear you have now been in hospital, you have had such a raw deal with your health this year, I hope you are now feeling better, my sister has got to go and have an endoscopy in the next couple of weeks as she has become very enemic and they are going to go down her throat and if they dont find anything they are going up the bum (not one after the other you will be glad to now) heehee. She has just found out that she has an other active thyroid too and have been quite poorly for about 6 months. Im sure you will be fine, you better take good care of yourself, we need to see lots more of Toby and Venus pics and videos. Big hug and sloppy kisses to them from our two.
Aww Deb thank you so much for your message of support, goodness knows whats up with me, think I need shoving in a bag and shaking up lol I'm just so glad our Soph wasnt here, cause she got so upset when my mum had to go to hospital (but she died 12 hrs later) and it terrified her, so I'm so thankful she was at her mums. Ohh dont envy your sister, down the throat and up the bum! We have no dignity do we!!! Carolyn has just made me feel so much better though by telling me they give you a sedative which also helps to block out the procedure afterwards, then they give you tea and toast. Hope all is well with you, Bullit and Lunar hun, my two have kept coming to give me a good nudge, sniff and licking lol Speak soon hun, and send my regards to your sister xxxxxx
omg DD1, im so sorry to hear you have an some very nasty comments about Floyd, can I just reasure you " HE IS GORGOUS AND A MASSIVE CREDIT TO ALL YOUR HARD WORK" if it was not for you rescuing him things could have turned out so much worse for him, you truely are a saint and that is all you have to remember, these people on BBO dont deserve to be stafford lovers if they cant appreciate what you have done for him and him for you. Take care DD2
Hi DD2.... nice to hear from you, hope all is well with you ...thankyou for your nice comments & words of encouragement...ive decided not to let people from BBO get to me or bring me down, i know ive done the right thing by rescueing Floyd & turning hes life around for the better, im soo going to stay postitive about Floyd, nothing or no one is going to stop me from loving/ taking care of him...
Hi Debi-Thanks for your message hun-we are getting there slowly-miniscule meals which Amber wolfs down and then looks at me with doleful eyes and a lot of on the floor scavenging but the wobbly tummy is looking slightly tighter. Hope you and your babes are good and having a nice wekend so far. Love to you and yours. xxxxx
