Hey! ah, I'm happy to hear Bruce is an inspiration, i'll tell my mum that you said that when he's being naughty!! Ah Bettie is doing well, it is tough training them, i'd forgotten how hard it is until i tried to get my bf's springer to do the down! I'd love to see the viedos of her when you do them, but thats hard enough to keep their attention to film them! I'm trying to get bruce to sit with a treat on his nose and then flip it up and catch it! fantastic i know but i've seen an extreamly clever staffy do it at a show! Bettie is a great name too, she is lovely I've got a tip for a toy, a ball, its called the indisructaball, its fairly bit and solid, so they can't get their teeth into it or pop it or rip it up! But Bruce is only allowed it for short times under suppervision cause he ripped the garden up chasing it and then came in and was sick cause he exhausted himself wiv it and ate too much mud trying to grip it!!! Get them from pets at home, about a tenner! Well good luck and bye for now! Take care
[Thanks for that I had already given up on the tennis balls and managed to get hard rubber baton rounds which she will chew on for hours, you just have to keep an eye on her until she strats to break pieces off then bin them.
I had a Kong octopus thing and that lasted all of 2hrs 10 minutes before it was defrocked and the squeek killed she ended up with various strands of dental floss in her teeth which took a while for her to give up.
She also has a Kong which she will go to but only if there is food in it.
LOL Dray loves his Black Kong, it took a while for him to realise he could chew and chew and that Mum wouldn't take it away from him, he loves a bit of peanut butter inside it as a treat. I've not bouthg any of the Kong products except the actual Kong and the hard balls, I looked at the other things like the octopus and decided that it would get destroyed too quickly, lol looks like i was right there. A few of the memjbers have given their fur kids an old tye to chew on, they have scrubbed i first, aparently they last a really long time. My husband works in a motorcycle and power tool shop, we are waiting for somone to need new tires on their ride on mower so we can get one for Dray to try. Give Bettie a hug from me, bye for now,

I don't want to rain on your parade, but tennis balls aren't any good for Betties teeth, the acid in her saliva reacts with the glue in the tennis balls and will eat away the enamel on her teeth, You will be much better off spending a bit extra and getting one of the hard rubber balls made by the same people that make the Kong toys. It will last longer too She is such a beautiful girl I'd hate to see her with problems later. Hope to catch up soon, Elsha & Dray

I don't want to rain on your parade, but tennis balls aren't any good for Betties teeth, the acid in her saliva reacts with the glue in the tennis balls and will eat away the enamel on her teeth, You will be much better off spending a bit extra and getting one of the hard rubber balls made by the same people that make the Kong toys. thanks for the comment ,, brunos had his fair share of probs regarding skin ,,allergies gallore but i try my best to keep him in tip top condition ,bettie has a good coat too,
