Hi Lucie was feeding her on James Wellbeloved as i always thought was one of the best foods you could get. The difference in three weeks is amazing. She will go out for a walk and when she comes back she will settle quietly instead of still being on the go. She is still mad and full of beans but she doesnt go too far now! Ive had times when ive been stood in a field and having her hang off my arm and people staring at me like i was being savaged by my own dog! Lilia will still jump up at people given the chance but she is getting better. I had a mate round on sunday and she just walked up to him and when he sat down she kissed him for 1/2 hour then sat down. Its embarrassing when they jump up i know. I would try a change of diet and see if it does help you've nothing to loose! Im so pleased your dad is home and mum is getting some help with him. let me know what you decide about belles diet. xx            & nbsp;           &nbs p;            & nbsp;           &nbs p;            & nbsp;           &nbs p;            & nbsp;

Hi Di, great, it sounds as though your doing really well with Lilia. The changes in her sound really dramatic dont they!.  Just out of interest what sort of thing were you feeding her before, because I'm wondering if I could learn a thing or two. Belle really embarassed me today, it is soooo muddy over the fields at the moment that I thought I would take her around the roads again. People were walking upto us and Belle would jump up and cling on to there legs!. I yanked her off and said a firm NO but she kept on doing it.  However on the way back she picked up and was really good with me, this old boy came towards us with a Greyhound and Belle just sniffed him and walked on.  So all was not lost hey!. lol Bless her its not her fault really I do not go around the roads very much, because she has so much energy I tend to go over the fields where she can let off steam yer know!.  Dad came home on Monday and the Urgent Care Team are coming in morning and night to get him up washed and dressed. This helps Mum so much and they are able to spend quality time with each other rather than Mum getting really stressed about the stairs etc. I have not been able to get over there though yet because of this cold, it has to be a germ free zone ofcourse. Anyway, hun better go now so catch up with you again soon. Luv ya Lucie n Belle xxxx

Hi Lucie i know you appreciate my weird sense of humour! It was an exciting walk to say the least! Sorry you're still feeling under the weather at least you should get it out of the way in time for xmas! Poor Belle i bet shes wondering whats happened to Meg. Three weeks into Lilias diet and we are reaping the rewards now  As you know she used to get into a frenzy and run at you and grab your arm, coat, trousers and not let go but shes not done that now for the last two weeks. A firm no when shes running at you full pelt does the trick now. Yesterday mum and dad came over in the day and took her out for a walk when i got home she was so quiet i thought she was ill - but she had had her walk and was content when normally she would come back in from a walk and still not settle. She is definitely calmer. Plus she feels a lot cooler - her blood was running hot due to all the protein. I definitely think she is a better calmer dog and her fur has always been shiny but now its so soft as well. She still has a nasty scab on her face and a rash on her leg which shes had for the last month now. Shes had two lots of antibiotics and its not really got much better so we are off the the vets tonight to see what they think. Good to hear from you and glad you are okish!!! Take care matey. Lots of love Di & Lilia xxxx

Hey there, I am good thanks. Been busy. Max is going to his breeder's house on the 12th to mate with one of her bitches. Lucky little 10 month old! Ha ha. So he's going to be a Daddy soon. Just completing DNA tests on Max -- sent these off to Australia, but I am sure he will test fine. Elle awoke super-charged today. Really, really talkative, from 6am! Ha ha. Not going to be a millionaire by Christmas, unless I win Lotto, but Hiro drink sales are going pretty well thanks. I've been spending a lot of time working on my usual business -- Advertising. Hey thanks for your note. I hope you guys are great! Have a good one. Cheers, Will :)
quote="lynne"]
Hey hun, awww bless you thanks. The Interview was not with Boots to be honest I've given up with them its just ridiculous the system they have there. This was with the Alzheimers Society thought I would get involved with something I knew something about!. lol It was an experience I would not want to have to often I have to say. It took me an hour and a half to get a parking space, and then it was just luck to be honest that this man came back to his car. Then I had to find the CVS building where they were holding the interviews. I was asked to do the presentation, when I had finished they all said well thank you very much that has taken us up to question 7 and laughed. I took that as a good sign. lol Said I would know within 24 hours and have not heard anything yet so not holding out to much hope. Christmas seems to be something I know will happen but I'm just not prepared yet. There seems to be so many other things going on at the moment. Its Megs Birthday on Monday so I sort of plough all my effort into that then I can concentrate on Christmas.lol The Urgent Care Team are coming in to Mum and Dad as promised and it all seems to be going well at the moment. Dad is so much happier at home although I have not seen him yet because I have this cold and it has to be a germ free zone.  Your doing really well hun with all your wrapping up, I wish I was at that stage. How are the babies?. How are you managing to control Sophs excitement about the holiday?. lol Not long now is it!. Will miss you badly. Speak soon Lucie n Belle xxxx

Hiya hun, omg that sounded like a nightmare!! All that time to find a parking space! Many would have given up and gone home lol They certainly weren't giving anything away were they! Isn't it annoying that they say they will get back to you and then don't. Maybe they have alzheimers hey lol Goodness you didn't plan that very well did you! fancy having Meg so close to christmas lol Aww I'm so glad to hear that dad seems to be happier at home and the care team are going in and doing their bit to help. Lets hope he just continues to get stronger now. Lets hope this cols of yours clears up soon then you can go see them. Thought I'd better get something done as I have to be ready before everyone else this year and do all the packing! At the moment its not hard keeping Soph amused, I logged on to a cadbury magical elves site and there are games and blogs and stuff, and also on to another one which has all sorts on it. My babies are both great they are having a tug of war at the minute and making a hell of a racket lol God its cold, but I think looking at the weather map although there is heavy snow forecast we are going to miss it! So Toby still hasnt seen snow as we didnt have any last year either. How about you, have you seen much snow? Speak soon hun, lots of love and big hugs xxx

Hi Lucie and beautifyl Belle,
Blue is like a dustbin if it will go in his mouth he will eat it....lol
We tried him with quite a few foods and we found that the food he likes most and agrees with his tummy most is Asda Hero range.....lol
Pedigree chum etc was to rich and upset his tummy so we give him bakers complete mixed with Asdas hero, and it goes down a treat.
Also I buy fresh liver and cook that up for him.
He loves Chinese food :(
Getting the harness was the best thing i did for both of us.
I felt on the collar and lead it was choking him a bit as he is a strong dog, and as I have chronic fibromyalgia walking him was hard.
Since getting the harness it has made life alot easier he doesnt pull so now I get to hold him as well : )
I hope I have helped a little....lol and not confused you.
Take care
All the best
Sharen and Blue xx

Hi Sharen, how are you today and the lovely Blue ofcourse?. Is Blue good with his food Sharen, what do you give him out of interest?. I have been giving Belle the Natures Menu because she went off the James Wellbeloved dry food. I have to say her breath is wicked though since she has been on these pouches.  She enjoys a chicken wing too though so try to break it up!.  Is Blue good on his harness does he pull you?. Hi hunni-hope you are well and Belle-and then Ive just read your mood-and you feel like cack so scrub that first line.
Hope you feel better soon chick. My supposed food poisooning bug-that would not go has turned out to be possibly an ulcer-I have had to have blood tests and have to go for a scan to check for gall stones so we shall see. Must admit I feel beter on the medication though so the doc could be right. I wouldnt be surprised having an ulcer with my bloody stressful life .. How long you been ill hun-and is it affecting Christmas shopping.
How is Belle with her attacks-have you found anything else out hun or has she been better.
Right-must go and work-keep dosed up and get better soon. love ya bud. xxxx

Aww matey sorry youve got a stinking cold - hope you are better soon. This one will cheer you up! Took Lilia out yesterday. Mum had her on the lead and i walked up the bank of the woods to see if anyone was about before we let her off lilia dived after me and pulled mum over and up the bank we nearly wet ourselves laughing! Then she found a scent (lilia not mum!) and i could see her dragging what looked like a big stick back only to discover it was the front two legs of a deer - one hanging out each side of her mouth! I knew she wouldnt give it up easily so mum dragged her on whilst i stood on one leg and it was like skateboarding down the hill LOL. Dad usuall walks her sunday but last week he said he would cook the roast if we took lilia out. It was raining, cold and snowing slightly and i didnt want to go but we had two hours of laughter and i built up an appetite for dinner! Hope you dad is still making progress. Catch you soon matey. Love you lots xxx

quote="lynne"][quote="[Hi Lynne, you are certainly someone to have on your side in an emergency hey!. Your right about having a fair amount on my plate at the moment, to top it all I applied for a job and I'm trying to write a presentation for an interview at 2 tomorrow. I'm terrified but I'm going to imagine them all naked and that should do the trick!. lol Speak soon Lucie n Belle xxx

Hi hun, hey good for you - is the interview with Boots, or did you try other places? Imagining them all naked is a good trick - I'm sure you will be fabulous - go girl! I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you - and anything else I can cross lol Hope you don't have to wait to long for the results!
I've just broken the back of the present wrapping - I hate that job! Most of Soph's is done so thats the biggest lot done. Got to tackle the cards next! Wheres that address of yours???? Gotta go Soph will be waiting for me. Speak soon hun, big hugs and good luck for tomorrow xxxx

[quote="[Hi Lynne, good grief Lynne I see what you mean now!. Just as well it was you then that helped her rather than someone who was completely green. lol I think a dead body would have freaked me out defo!. lol I'm sorry hun should I have signed something for you?. I keep coming on here then I have to be somewhere or something lately and there is a big gap again. Sorry!!!!. It dont mean I think any less of you hun honest. lol Hope you are all well and give those babies a kiss for me. Speak soon Lucie n Belle xxxx

Hi hun, good to hear from you, It was quite strange when I found that body (luckily for me it was my first time at that particular call so I had never known him) but the facts sort of took over, I knew I had to call various people, then the police were called in, and I ended up staying at the house with a copper while they were waiting for the body to be collected (there had to be two of us in case the family made any suggestions that something had gone missing from the house!) So what should have been a half hour call turned into a five hour call!! My line manager and her manager rang me so many times to offer me councelling! In the end I agreed to go just to shut them up! One of my blogs I did was a petition to stop the nastyiness of someone that was causing a lot of upset with his insults - he is on a months ban at the min, but we are keeping it going so we have something to give to admin if he comes back and starts again! If you want to sign it - please do you will find it in the blogs. (Stop the nastiness petition) I think thats what I labelled it. Hey don't worry its a busy time when you have kids with all the things going on at school, and the after school activities, then you have your mum to look after and dad to visit - you have a lot on your plate! Give that gorgeous Belle a big hug, love to you and the rest of the family hun, speak soon xx

]Hi Hun, awww poor old girl, bloody good job you were there for her Lynne. It must have been really frightening for her to wake up in Hospital hey. It makes you feel so good to think you have helped someone in need like that though even if it was really stressful for you which I'm sure it must have been hun. Yeah, went out with Mum today and got a few bits, bought Megs Birthday Pressie and Mum got all sorts of different things for my Sisters boys and me a pair of Silver Ring Earrings which I'm really pleased with. Mum wants a Statue for the garden so could'nt get tha at Lakeside. lol Mum had a lady in the garden the wind blew her over and her head fell off. ha ha ha ha (Need to replace her) lol At least I know what I have to get though, it does help. Glad the arm is better now hun they do sometimes hurt these injections dont they!. Oh boy will it be worth it though. Lovely!!!!!!. Off to pick Meg up from Laurens now so see you soon mate. Lucie n Belle

Hi Lucie, good to hear from you hun. Hope I don't sound arrogant, but I didnt get stressed as when I was working I never knew what I was walking into - people who had water infections (you wouldnt believe how that can affect people!!!), people who had fallen and been on the floor all night, and even one dead body! So seeing her fall and knowing she hadnt broken anything - well having a good idea she hadnt broken anything! Sounds like you and your mum had a really productive day! I did laugh when you said about the lady blowing over and her head dropping off lol The earrings sound lovely  -  have to admit I love a bit of gold lol I tell mark that i can only wear gold as anything else makes my ears fester lol Right sweetie I have to go thank a whole load of people now for signing the petition I have on my blog. Speak real soon hun, big hugs to you all xx
