Amazing Results.
Posted On 11/10/2008 21:12:28
Hi everyone.I read a blog written by tizaac on 1/10/08 about the canny collar. It sounded great.Leo wasn't too bad on the lead but since we got Dudley he seems to pull to get pole position. So,i thought what the hell,it won't break the bank.It cost me £16.70 including express delivery.
I took the boys out for a stroll this evening and was a bit worried as to what Leo would think of the canny collar as there is a part if it that goes across the snout!!!! We got ready and left the house with a few shakes of his head but by the time we reached the end of the road he was fine.
I have to say that the canny collar is the best thing that i have bought as far as walkies goes.It was like walking a different dog and i was amazed at how quickly it worked and how easy it was for him to get used to it.I'll definatley be sending off for one for Dudley.
If you do send off for 1 make sure that you follow the guidlines for measuring your dog properly as it comes in different sizes.
Thanks canny collar and many thanks to TIZAAC.

I have 2 young male staffies,1 that is castrated and the other 1 will be asap.I read something the other day that worried me........is it true that you shouldn't keep 2 males together as they fight??????They do play aggressivley but i stop it before it gets too rough. Can anyone shed any light on this as i want to stop any problems before they may happen.Thanks.Sam

Dudley(formerly known as Floyd)
Posted On 21/09/2008 11:19:48
Hi Folks.Well we made it back from Turkey in the early hours of last Wednesday morning and didn't get to bed till about 3am,till i sorted out some washing, ladies, you know how it is!!!! LOL.Then woke up at 5.45am cos i was so excited about today, cos this is the day that we were going to pick up our new addition Dudley(formerly known as Floyd on this website).
We set off in the morning to drive from Guildford to Birmingham which took a couple of hours but seemed like a lifetime cos i couldn't wait to get there. We got to Lisa's(Percy,on this site)house early afternoon.I must say that Lisa is a really lovely, wonderful lady and just wish that we lived closer cos i'd love to see her and her family again.
We took Leo with us because we obviously wanted to see how the boys got on which turned out to be no problem at all.
Then we had to face the long journey home which was fun cos all the boys wanted to was play in the car,so we had to make lots of stops which took even longer!!!
Things have been fine and Dudley has settled in sooo well.We have had a couple of grumbles from Leo just reminding Dudley who is the man of the house and  few toilet accidents but hey, that's all part of having a puppy and carpets can be disinfected and shampooed!!!!!
Another thing which is really sweet is that i think Dudley will turn out to be my 3 years sons dog as they are inseperable and Dudley just won't leave him alone,if my son is in the armchair then Dudley is by his side and also when we go out for a walk Dudley has to walk by Harveys side.It also takes some of the pressure off Leo as he's very much my dog.
I'm so glad that things are going well and just wanted to say a BIG BIG thanks to Lisa(Percy) for keeping Dudley for us while we were on holiday for 2 weeks, not many people would have done that concidering that we had never met.
I'll be putting photo's on soon.

What is wrong with people!!!!

Took my little Leo out for a stroll this evening with my husband, and youngest.Walking along minding our own business with Leo on the lead as he's not too sharp at recall sometimes(depends on what there is to sniff!!!).As we were walking, out of the blue came this Jack Russell,in the distance we could see the owner. The dog came over, sniffed Leo then promptly started trying to chew his head off and was REALLY going for him.Poor Leo didn't have a clue what to do as he loves everyone and everything. My hubby managed to push the dog away but it came back at Leo twice as bad and this time my hubby had to use his foot to get the dog off Leo.I know that might make some of you cross but there was no choice. The dogs owner then came mooching over and just said 'oh,sorry',well,i went like a mad woman.I stood up for our Staffies like you wouldn't believe, but you would think that if you have an aggressive dog as that 1 was you would at least keep it on a lead and maybe even muzzle the thing!!!!!

Blog 2

Wrote a blog the other day about Leo wanting to play with horses and been thinking about it ever since and came up with the idea of a spray collar.Just wanted to know if anyone has ever used 1 and if so was it any good and did it do the trick?????? They are expensive and wanted to get some feedback before i fork out!!!!!!!!!!
Be grateful for ANY comments,Thanks.

Advice Needed URGENTLY.

Thought i'd write this blog as i've just read Di's(tractorgirl)lastest blog about her traumatic walk.Well,i had 1 of those the other night!!!!
I took Leo to a local beauty spot and let him off as he's so good with other dogs,i really don't have a problem in that department.Anyway, walking along we came to a bit of a cross roads and the next thing he was off.I went after him only to see that he had found 2 horses and wanted to play!!!!!!!!!He was skipping along trying to play with the horses leg,and i was thinking that's it,he's dead.Luckily the young lady on 1 of the horses said it was fine and it won't kick out even though it had lifted it's leg but i had visions of Leo flying through the air.
I know it's a long shot but does anyone have any tips on stopping this behaviour PLEASE.
