If you're anything like me, which i'm sure you are, you'd never dream of leaving the house without your dog, even if it's just across the road Sadie gets excited the minute I put my shoes on besides a walk on pavements to the shops keeps her nails nicely manicured!

Anyway, I left Sadie, as always by the shop door always within my sights and while being served I saw a couple of lads, older teens fussing Sadie, nothing unusual she always gets fussed wherever she goes but something made me uneasy call it mothers intuition I just knew my puppy was in trouble, deciding she was more important than milk for the kids breakfast I went out to her. Sadie wears the usual name-tag & also a Bob Martin ID disc both of which had mysteriously disappeared, the lads ran off and I realised how close I'd come to losing a family member, Sadie was just confused to where her new 'friends' had gone.

Some people see a staffy as a commodity but they dont realise to an owner the pedigree papers and the KC registration mean nothing compared to the love you feel, a dog isnt just a pet it's part of the family and to lose them is not something you can contemplate.

So PLEASE  be on your guard, I'm sure you always are but it doesn't hurt to be reminded.
