Wow how funny that he just dived into the water, Toby seems to have gotten over his fear of water which is great news.
Oh dont worry about Toby and Venus being over the standard, they would have been ok with the old standard. and as i say to those that grizzle about our dogs being over, can you tell a tree that when first planted grew to 18 feet, to grow to 16 feet. And dont forget is says desirable height.
I hope i didn't upset you in any way.
Yes more work to go look for envelopes, but at least i can pick nice ones.
Must go work chat to you soon
Hi Julie, oh gosh don't think for a minute that you upset me hun cause you didn't - there's only the one who managed to do that!! You go and do your work hun, don't work to hard!!! If thats possible lol Enjoy the rest of your day (or night) speak to you soon hun, much love xxxx
I thought it was cold, i dont know how Toby and Venus can put their feet in the water.
I love the black mask on Toby, he is so handsome. Venus has shot up hasn't she, Staffords go through a leggy stage, where they look really tall, but the rest of the body catches up eventually. LOL
All my Staffords went through it, Abbey was so leggy at 7 months old i was worried there for a bit.
All my girls are now similar in height and weight, Abbey is now 14 1/2 inches high and 16 kgs, Kara is the same, joppa is 14 inches and 15kgs and Bria is 15inches and 16.5 kgs.
Jackson is 16.5 inches just over the standard by 1/2 inch and is 20kgs he has no fat on him at all.
My cows are all good thanks, the calves run around the paddock so fast now playing and kicking up the feet, is lovely to see.
Yes i am so busy with my Christmas orders, and i do work very late into the wee hours. i dont know how i do it either, coffee and more coffee LOL.
I have a TV in my work room, i watch the old b&W movies on the ABC. My dogs are all with me, which is nice.
Jackson is giving me a foot wash ohh its very nice LOL my hubby says yuck. LOL
give you two babies a sloppy kiss for me lol, i hope to pick up the cards tomorrow, i am so excited to have them. they cannot supply nice envelopes so i am of to a stationary in the morning to find some nice ones.
sounds like poor Poppy has had a hard time, but now she is well loved and that's all that matters.
Julie
Hi Julie, do you know Toby was always scared of the water - wouldn't even go out in the rain when he was a little puppy! Funnily enough he went in the water a couple of times over the summer, but he shocked us all at the weekend as he just kept ploughing in for no reason! As for Venus - she is an Irish staffie, her mum is short legged and stocky but dad is long legged and lean, so we will just have to see how she turns out! She looks ever so leggie at times so we think she may take after her dad - time will tell hey. Both of them are over the standard height, and Toby has papers with a couple of champions in his lineage, we never bothered with the papers for Venus because although she was advertised as KC reg she wasn't, it was the Intercontinental KC which isnt the same thing. I'm so pleased all your calves are now healthy and eating and playing well. How did we manage when there wasn't 24 hrs tv lol remember when it closed down at a certain time (and the radio) and came back on the following day? How times have changed and technology moved on! I'm with you on the staffie washes, but now its turned so cold here it isn't half cold when they are giving you a wash lol I would have thought the printers would have had a selection of envelopes, especially when they are doing cards! Just means yet more work and running around for you - poor thing! Oh Poppy is in a really lovely home and is never ever left on her own, she goes into work with Viv every day, and her husband and two grown up children are all equally involved in making sure that Poppy gets everything she could possibly need from walking and exercise to play and affection lol Speak soon hun, big hugs to you all xxx
Hi Julie, thank you so much for all those lovely comments on my pics. You weren't wrong, it was freezing that day on the beach, I had no gloves on as I was taking pics and couldn't feel my fingers, then shortly after we got caught in a hail stone downpour - boy did that hurt! Venus is as tall as Toby now, she's so big lol Toby has always had a dark mask and muzzle, I get lots of comments about that when I'm out with him. Poppy belongs to friends of ours who live in Holyhead on the Isle of Angelsey. They are the people who are looking after Toby and Venus for us when we go away at Christmas. Poppy used to belong to someone else but they were out all day and stayed away from home often, leaving Poppy on her own. Viv used to take Poppy in and formed a bond with her, so she persuaded the owners to sell her to them. Now she is looked after properly, goes to training and is loved to bits. Hope you, your beautiful dogs, calves and all the other animals are all well. Hope you managed to catch up on your sleep since the last time I spoke to you! I bet you are working hard to get all your christmas orders out in time. Don't know how you do it all - think I'll have to start calling you wonderwoman lol Take care hun, much love, speak soon xxx

Hi Julie, theres no sign of swelling with Venus yet, and as for Toby, well he's a randy dandy and tries his luck quite often lol so thats nothing to go by! Oh I'm getting so excited about seeing those cards lol Its like being a kid again and waiting for christmas lol Can't wait to receive that package! Hope all is well with you, and all your animals big and small! Big hugs, speak soon hun xx
Hi Julie Just wondering what you think of the topaurus dogs. If you would like to mess... me your email add... i will send you a email that i got you will see what i have been having to look at all week im finding it hard to see the quility in pups..lol.. its hard enough looking when they have them in a stack well then there are the ones that you cant see at all..lol... Vicki..xxxx
Hey Julie.....hope all is good with you & your gorgeous staffords..get ready for it... some of the members from BBO are join'n here, there goes the clubs good reputation....your going to be extra busy here then..
That was a horrible thing to say to you its obvious you love your animals and wouldnt do anything bad to them or risk their health. If you didnt care about your babies you wouldnt have spent so much time and energy saving the pup you would have just let it die. Sometimes people should learn to keep their opinions to themselves and not be so hurtful. To me the worst thing you could do to insult me is criticise my lilia or how i look after her - to be honest i can live with any other insults but not when it comes to my dog so i appreciate how much that hurt you but i always think if you can look into your heart and know you always do the best you can for your babies then no matter what anyone else says you know you have given them your all. At the end of the day we have to live with our consciences and we both know our babies come first. Whoops sorry that got a bit heavy but i think you understand what i mean? Take care xx

Soverenstaff wrote:I am really upset about what suzi said about me, she called me a backyard breeder and that i over used abbey when that is not true, she was vet checked several times and i asked my vet input before i went ahead. Abbey wont be breed again unless the specialist that she is seeing can work out whats causing her to reabsorb her puppies.
It was just mean to say such things, i would never hurt or doing anything to put them in danger.
Thanks for your ear and your comment, thank you!
Julie
I wouldnt worry about it too much those of us who know you love you and respect your advice and friendship. xx
