Love your photos Dipper is gorgeous looks as though he will be a real charmer when he's older.Duke is the master of chewers. He would chew anything from coins to my sons £120 football boots, i have replaced my tv remote 3 times bought 2 new mobile phones even lost the cover of the drain of my washing machine. This all changed when i changed the time of his walks and bought a lot of nylabones for him. Now its only the odd shoe he runs off with but just for your attention not to chew. So dont despair the is always something nicer for them to chew you just have to encourage them by overloading them with chew bones all different flavours. speak soon Jennyan duke x x
Hi Tina, ive just seen your question about why does Dipper chew everything - the simple answer is because hes a staffie! When i had Lilia as a pup i found that the best answer is to give her lots of things to chew. You can spend a fortune on things her favourite was a nylon key teething ring for puppies, a puppy nylabone (they can only chew little bits off at a time with these) and the 'freebie' things that amuse them the best are cardboard boxes, egg boxes, empty plastic (butter type) containers, milk containers. Anything that makes a noise and can be chewed. As Lilia got older i started to give her roasted bones, chews, etc. She still loves to chew but because she has an array of things to choose from my kitchen/furniture, etc has always been safe! My house is full of her chewing things but its better than the alternative. I hope this helps you. Di xx
