Is Lilly being awkward or should I start worrying?

Help - Advise needed!

As some of you may know my Lilly turned 2 on saturday, ever since she has become a frustrating fussy eater.  She is refusing to eat "doggy" food and will beg for sausage rolls or toast (of all things!)  I know she has a secret love of all things buttery but surely this is not a good thing for her stomach!  I know Staffs have a rep for cast iron stomach but don't really want to test this thoery out.

I was so frustrated with her this morning I was left a blubbering heap on the floor!  I really need some help, I can't afford to keep throwing food away because she refuses it!  I even cheated this morning and pretended to eat her food on a dinner plate and then put it on the floor so she thought she was getting "People" Food instead - did she fall for it NO!  I've now tried all the supermarket available tinned and dry dog food and am honestly loosing hope!  Even her favourite treats have not been taken - any advise would be greatful.

UPDATE - it seems my little princess has eaten an enitre box of Marrowbone treats and she may be little bunged up!  I'm off to the shops to buy chicken breast and liquid parrafin!  Will keep you all posted!

Hi, I have always had the same problem with Harley, he is such a fussy dog.  I used to give him dry food and then he refused to eat it.  From there I went through every single possible dog food.  NOw I cook for him making sure he gets all the right minerals, vitamins and so on. But even that he gets fussy every now and then.  I now wish I hadn't give him to his fussiness and had been strong and continued feeding him dry food.  They will eat in the end.  My girl Muffin is in season now and Harley stopped eating.  He spent 3 days without eating at all, just drinking water.  He is now eating a little bit more.  They will eat in the end

hi

have had problem with this in the past and all i do is mix a little of what she likes in with her normal dog
food and the bowl is licked clean. Let her see you put it in there too.  when i put my dogs onto dry food
they left it for the first day (they just test you) i took one slice of ham and cut it into tiny pieces and mixed
it in with the buscuit - the bowl was gone in no time!

well it worked for me. good luck
