Sore toes
Posted On: 02/07/2008 07:49:23
Can anyone help! Lilia is suffering from sore toes. We've been to the vets once and she got antibiotics which cleared it up but its happening again. It seems to be if we walk through long grass - i suppose the obvious answer is to avoid that but its not that easy! The vet told me it could be an allergy or just an irritation. Has anyone elses dog suffered from this and is there anything i can put on it to stop the itching. I will take her back to the vets if it persists but if anyone has any ideas i would appreciate it. Thanks. Di xx

Hi Di,
I would also recommend Julie's oil mix,
Dray has been on it for 3 weeks now and his skin has healed up so well that you would never know that he had sore armpits and toes.

I was going to take her to the vets to get more antibiotics - do you think i should or just try the oil and see what happens?

hi di,
ruby has a skin allergy....but so far no vets visits yet.. i have been giving her the oil mix of julie's..
she still comes up in spots but they seem to clear up and she don't scratch at them.. they can be there one minute and gone the next.. so i think that oil works cause last year it cost me loads of money with vet bills...but she didnt have sore feet it is more her belly and between her legs..the vet did tell me to apply sudocream...i would give that oil mix ago and put sudocream on her feet it might work for you and hopefully save you loads on vets bills..

Hi Pam.Thanks will try that - what is the oil mix? Di x
