HI! I remember losing our last staff Holly for 3days we thought someone had lifted her as she was elderly and never really left the garden. It was a horrible 3 days but she just turned up on the back doorstep as if nothing had happened, then i noticed a note sellotaped to her collar- just need love and kisses have been fed and watered had a 3 day holiday at the local chinese restaurant now i'm glad to be home. I went to the chinese restaurant with the note but the claimed to know nothing about it so to this day it still remains a mystery.

Hello Lynne
Thank you for your note.

I remeber gettin Ollie as a pup and our late dog Khalsa was soo good with him it was a joy to see.  i remember he went missing at 8 months - he got away under fence and that was it, we scoured the streets, posters, police, vet etc, to no avail, Khalsa looked with us and was lost when she was in the house.  she kept turning the dog beds out and pulling blakets of the bed, anyway after a week (the longest week) i got a knock on my door he had ben found and taken in.  when i got him back home we put this little bundle on the floor in the hall and Khalsa bounded over with such joy in her face she made all the wimpering noises and licked him and sniffed him and when she was satisfied he was secure bit him on the leg as if to say "you git do you know what you put me thru! " i know these doga are human!!

Hi Susan, So good to hear from you. I can imagine what you went through when Ollie went missing - it would destroy us all if one of ours went missing, and I know the dogs would pine for each other. I only seperated our two by the dog gate when I gave Toby a break from the razor sharp teeth - and all they did was cry till they were together again! I'm so pleased your story had a happy ending though, I can imagine how happy Khalsa was to see her again. Its just like a mum and child, they go missing, you search high and low and have a million heart attacks, you find them, hug them then follow through with anger that they put you through all the worry! Anyway hun I hope life is treating you and Ollie well, speak soon hun xx
